Well I'm just going to give a small update right now. First I'm pumped up now. I can start shopping for a I-pod now. :)

I sold my PSP, and I'm shipping it today. I'm looking at how big of one I'm going to get. I'm thinking I may just go nano..but maybe even smaller. It'll all depend on what I-pod I need to play the LOST game for the pod's, and if I need the monster one that plays video. Well then I might just buy a different brand one that has the memory I want. I change my songs enough that I'm not to worried about having one with insane amount of memory.
My knee feels a bit better, but it's still a bit stiff. I can move it more than I have in the last week, but I'm still not very stable for long times on it. I'm really hoping that it's better by the 17th. I don't want to have to go back in to the Dr. to get it looked at again, and not be able to get back to working normal shifts.

Hmmm... WEll it's not quite a I-Pod, but I saved a ton of money on my car insur....Arrrg. biggrin

Well I got my new MP3 player today. i looked around, and for the price of a 2 gig I-Pod Nano I got a 4 gig Philips that does everything the 4 gig nano does, plus it plays video ect... Then witht he money I saved buying this one I got a set of small travel speakers for using at work. I'm pretty damn happy with this purchase so far. Now it's time to see how hard it is to put stuff on it, and also to use. Looks like I found a winner though. :)

Thanks KIL. I'm actually downloading songs right now. I plan on actually trying to get a movie or an epi of LOST just to see how good it plays those. Since it does play video. :)

It is pretty cool. I'm very happy witht he choice to not get the Nano. I would have like to have the I-pod, but for the price diffence it didn't make any sense.

You never look back from getting a mp3 player snootch, i've got a music collection thats about 24gig now and to have the ability to have the whole lot on one easy little device is mint......
Enjoy man, my ex actually got mad when we were going out because she felt i gave more time to listen to the little thing in the corner than devoting to her, hehe prob true.... hehe

1. using here at work
2. Using when I'm at the gym or riding bike (Looking forward to the knee being good enough to do that again.
3. hooking up to my 360 so I have better music than what's on the games.

Well to be fair she was a rather funny one, she also complain that i wore my Liverpool shirt far to often... which simply isn't possible!!!
Yeah i can completely understand your reasons, i mostly played games on the laptop so just have the must from the hard drive of that going in the background, does make games alot more enjoyable!! And they're wonderful for using while working out!!!
Have fun with it, great decision on the bigger for cheaper too... always good to see someone picking something for value rather than brand!!!

Dan I'm not one that buys anything for the brand. I never have been. (thanks mom:) )
I did run into an issue with it today....it only plays like 10 seconds of a song, and moves to the next song when I hooked it up to my 360 :( Now i've used a smaller (and cheaper) MP3 player that only holds like 20 songs. I have to readup, and see if it's compatable with my 360. If not...well I may have o look into a different one. I need that hookup.

Yeah, but like i said. Now there's connection issues with the 360, and that was oneof the reasons I got it.

I as usual am ever so sorry for not being around during these last few days, but Mon I spent a bit of time sleeping...well more like 15 hours. After the weekend of double shifts I figured that was coming.
Then on Mon night I got the chance to hook up and play some online Rainbow six with the new group of guys from the forum I found. It's so fun playing with guys who even though most if not all of them were better than I am. I didn't feel ridiculed or want to stop playing because they made me feel welcome, and I had a blast.
Last night turned into a non movie night

But it did turn into a "Thirsty Tuesday". Angie and I went to another couples place, had a few...a good deal of beer, sat around till dark, and came home, watched Pirate master, and hit the rack.
And...
I'm sorry, but tonight looks to be a night of Forza with Plinko and a couple guys from BAR. Angie is goine to the Poison, Firehouse, White Lion concert with 4 of her friends in Minneapolis, and so it's alone time for the Snootch. I'm planning on hitting a movie either this afternoon, or tomorrow. More than likely it'll be tomorrow.

I'll stop in later if things settle down early in the racing.

Love to the Treehouse Peeps, and it's back to work tomorrow. So I'll see everyone then.

IR...I ended up not getting in any racing. Just a lame night. Cleaned, and in bed witha monster headache by like 9 or 10.

Well it's been a bit since I put anything in here. Sorry about that, and salso that the first thing in ages is the following.

Well I'm here for the tonight and tomorrow, and then it's vacation time. I'll try my best to get in on a couple of those days, but it's going to be tough. I also am not sure about my future here being any better than it has been. I've been offered a chance to get involved in the start of a new website that'll be opening in a month or two. I've been asked to be one of the contributing members of a video game site. I'll be doing game reviews, and maybe more as things progress there. I'm sorry for this causing issues here, but this is a chance to do something I love, and maybe see if in time I can maybe take this to the next level. I've also been asked to help Admin the start-up of another gaming site at this time. This 2nd endeavor isn't going to hamper me here as much. It's just a re-working of a site that shut down. It's being sstarted up by a few people that are still wanting that community to be together. So I'm listed as a Mod/Admin there, and all I really am going to be for the time being is a advisor to them. They are using the "forumer" site as the host site, and since I have experience in using the set-up they asked for my help.
Again I'm sorry, but this is something I really want/need to do to sort of prove to myself that I can do this, and like i said. I want to see if I can do this at a level high enough I may be able to push this further into a career in the future.
I will now do the hard part......
I need to know if there are any here that are interested in becoming the Co-Admins of this site? I will still be involved, and will do whatever I can to help keep things going. I also will asnwer any questions anyone has whenever I am asked. I will not e leaving this place, but I'm stretched for time right now, and I thought it was only fair to find someone that would want to take this on.
If you want to answer me in here feel free, or you can send me a PM about it. Feel free to ask any questions you have before deciding.

I'm really excited to do this. The site is not much as it is now, but the plans they are working on could see the new site when it's done become a pretty cool thing, and maybe push for at least a mid level (behind like IGN, and gamespot ect...) for being a great site with a large user base. We'll wait and see if I'm hoping a bit too hard, but it could be something huge.

Sorry for not getting in here any sooner. So far the time off has been great. I've been able to re-energize a bit. Got a couple of the windows put in the screen porch (looks great BTW) and now just in Mnpls. chillin with Plinko.

I got back last night, and other than a little bit of TV I was pretty much sleeping the night away. I had a great time with Plinko as usual, and Angie and Kala seem to have had a splended time also. They were even klind enough to hook me up with a few new shirts, and a couple pairs of paints. biggrin

I work tonight, and if it's as it was when I left I'm supposed to be flaoting tonight, and that means not much time on the cpu. But if I have been put on a unit I'll be in here for a good while during the ealry part of my shift.
