I love it when I'm not working. I like having all the time in the world to myself to do what I want with it instead of someone else telling me what I've got to do with it.
I like having tasks to accomplish instead of staring at a computer or tv screen I guess. Nothing to do at home but wait for time to pass............ tic toc tic toc.
NO was pretty interesting. Though it seemed kind of empty while I was there.
Unfortunately, The French Quarter and surrounding businesses have suffered a huge tourist setback since Katrina. I think you would have like deating at the Country Flame. It's right off Royal, close to the Walgreens and the Montleon, in almost a back alley next to a mom and pop kind of joint called Mona's.
You mean White Linen? Where you pay a fee and then you can browse all the museums and antique shops and drink wine and have appetizers? Did you make it into a Community Arts Center? AKA - CAC. I've spent alot of time there in the internet cafe' when my computer was on the blitz.
I think they caled it dirty linen cause it was free that night or something. Royal street is pretty neat with all the galleries but I didn't go to the community arts center. If you see the pixie girl statue tell her I lovesssssss her. heh.
I found that aside from Van Gogh, I wasn't as attracted to anything as much as I was the abstract stuff. Although the few Judaical ones were interesting. There was an area that had little miniature rooms like living rooms/bedrooms/Bourdeax's. I wish I had known I could take pictures there! That was so neat!
