I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

keeping it together when your world is falling apart
this is by my former paster in florida... i found his website! his words have always comforted me so and kept me together! please read... he's fabulous!
Amazing sermon... thank you so much lady. I needed this
"Havent you ever wished when you know the vultures were circling around someone you loved that you had a magic wand that could take all the pain away or that the purpose would be seen in the midst of the pain? I know I have. Loved ones who have died and I wished I could take the pain away for the surviving family, but I couldnt. It wasnt in my power, but it is in Gods power." "Lets not blame God for all the evil in this world. Lets recognize that we live in an evil world, and that people do deplorable things to others, and the result of all this is life is not fair. Lets recognize what Paul is really saying, that no matter how much garbage and evil the world throws at us, no matter how many vultures are circling around, no matter how much we think our world is falling apart, God still seeks to pour good into His childrens life."
lol: "Feeling guilty about sneaking out of the house for a game of golf, a husband left his wife a lighthearted note invoking the name of his favorite golfer, Arnold Palmer. It simply said, I am playing golf. -- Arnie Palmer. When he returned home five hours later, he found a note beneath his original note: I am shopping. -- Ivana Trump. "
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
this man gives amzing sermons! read some of his others, if you can... listening to him was sublime...he always seemed to have something to say that i could use in my life... losing him was sad... but here he is again! on the web!! i love the web!!!
Thanks for sharing LL. You were lucky to have the chance to listen to someone who really gets the modern times. I've avoided most things church due to the fact that I get preached to about things that have no value to me in my life today. It's about things the "Way they were" and I don't need that.
