It's hot here. Has been. My mom offered to buy me a portable air conditioner because the fan I have is just not cutting it. Today was ok. As far as I know my brother and sister-in-law are still at the hospital. My mom said she'd call me when she knew anything and I haven't heard from her yet. How was your day?

Thanks, Kate.  (I put an update in the stable.)  I like lazy days.  I have a lot of those lately.  It's 66 here right now.  I'm hoping that a good breeze will crop up and start bringing in some of that cold air.  Watching Iron Chef America right now.  Battle parmigiano reggiano.  Easy ingredient to have to use and incorporate into the menu the chefs make for the battle.

the house is going slowly, my dad's been working on the windowsills and he almost has all of those donesmile.gif but it just takes a long time when it's only my dad and brother working on the house

i help with little things, like cleaning up and sometime i go over with my brother and help him. i can't really do much though, i just don't know how

I'm sure they'll use you more when the interiors are being finished.  Painting and such are things that don't require a lot of technical skill to do.  My brother used to frame houses for my dad.

I love Hawaii.  My bishop and his wife went to Lanai for their 25th anniversary.  I've never been to that island, but I want to.  It's less touristy than Oahu, I know that for sure.  I love Maui though.
