Looks like the worst is over for my area. I got to Montgomery after traveling 12 hours. The kitty was very stressed but did well. He peed in he carrior. I put him in the animal shelter here. He hasn't eaten yet, but hopefully he will soon.
I called my apartment and my answering machine picked up. So, that means I have phone and electricity. This is excellent news and very encouraging. Gotta go, just wanted to give ya an update.

Looks like I lost electricity after the storm, go figure. The stuff in the freezer was thawed. I have to clean it all out. I am beat, I'm not doing anything today
