I have a question..my four o'clocks are about two hours off.. I think that someone at the seed company got my little packet and put six o'clocks in it because that is what time they usually open. What should I do take the rest of the packet back to the store and get a refund, or write a letter to the seed company explaining my situation and maybe they can tell me how to influence my four o'clocks to open at four o'clock perhaps, with some kind of fertilizer or something. Or should I go to the store and purchase a new packet of four o'clocks and start all over. What would you do in my situation????

Bob, I'm Wednesdayworld. I am a Master Gardener, plus I have gardened my whole life ... in 6 different states (Minnesota, California, Washington, Nebraska, North Dakota and Alaska).
I have raised every kind of flower, shrub and tree you can imagine. I have planned and planted 5 new yards from scratch. I supervise 30-40 volunteer workers at church with landscaping and planting.
And I have to say this: I have no idea why your four o'clocks have rebelled. Are they, perhaps, Roman and prefer Roman numeral clocks? Did you factor in Daylight Savings Time? Is it possible that YOUR clock is wrong and the plant is right? Does you house span a time zone? Are you in the Twilight Zone and have somehow altered the Time/Space Continuem?

Get back to me on that.
First off, nice to meet you I have seen some of your posts but I dont think we have actually communicated. Next, to the buisness at hand..
My four o'clocks are defective! Either that or just they are so happy to see me they dont open till I get home... Somtimes I do hit a kind of time warp and pass my self going the other way on the road..
