OK, so I finally watched this week's episode. I'll put my thoughts in a little spoiler bubble in case someone still hasn't seen it.

First off, I really don't like the Mexcians' storyline. I mean, they're completely uninteresting and I can't see how either of their seeming abilities could possibly come into play in later episodes. I am interested in their storyline now insofar as to see how this American kid connects them to Claire. There's already a connection, seeing as how their getaway car is Claire's stolen car. (Major product placement there.)

Second, I think that somehow Sylar has forgotten just how exactly he takes other people's powers. Candace's head appeared to still be intact after he killed her. In the five years in the future episode from last season we saw that Sylar had taken her power. Is it possible that we're seeing an alternate version of the future based off of what happened at the plaza?

Third, I am really getting annoyed with Claire's storyline as far as this other guy is concerned. I mean, how cheesy was their story this week? And I saw it coming a mile away that he was connected to the company in some way. I have read it postulated on the internet that it is West who is killing off the elder generation of heroes. Could be, but how would he turn invisible to attack Mama Petreilli?

Fourth, I could have told you that Peter would fall for the girl and not want to open the box. As I saw her putting the tattoo on, I knew it would go away because of the healing abilities. I'm confused on those abilities though because as far as projectiles go we've only seen healing occur after those are removed by human hand (the stick in Claire's head for example). And given this, we've now seen the human body eject those projectiles/foreign objects to heal. (Peter and the bullets.) And as far as abilities go, how would Claire have pierced ears? The holes would heal over and she'd have to pierce them again every time she wanted to wear earrings. (Yet we see empty holes in the beach scene from this week. Couldn't they at least airbrush the holes out?)

Fifth, if the person going after the elder generation of heroes is one of them and turned traitor and their deaths are depicted in Isaac's paintings then what power does HRG have? At this point is logical for one to assume that these eight paintings depict the deaths of said elder generation, beginning with Kaito Nakamura and ending with HRG. Given this assumption then we must beging to speculate on HRG's powers. And his true motives. I know that there are many explanations and this last of the series could end up being another of Isaac's paintings that doesn't come true because of some event that occurs that didn't originally play into the painting.

Sixth, what is the Haitian's role in everything? Peter is wearing the necklace that he once wore. He had the virus and the company sent Mohinder to test him. Mohinder then cured the Haitian and pretended to have his memory erased so that the Haitian could go to California and find HRG. Why does HRG need the Haitian?

That's all I got for now, but things are still tumbling over others in my mind at the moment.

I think Sylar's storyline is a little too convenient.

Ok, I'm really getting tired of Sylar and the Mexicans.  I find the storyline convenient and contrived as far as the combination of the two.  And what is with Sylar suddenly not suffering any ill effects from the wounds he suffered due to being stabbed?  And how in the heck did he survive in the first place?  As far as the Mexicans, they have worthless powers and they're boring characters that I can't get interested in.

I am so sick of the backslide that some of the characters seem to be on.  Mainly Claire and her dad.  I mean, I know that HRG is trying to bring down the company, but I thought Claire and HRG had gotten past the distrust revolving around any involvement he may have had with the company.

Totally did not see it coming that Matt's dad would have been one of the original 12.  Now I'm curious to know whether the painting depicting HRG's death is from the same series that depicted Kaito Nakamura's death.  After all, it is logical at this point to assume that the series showing Kaito's death is a series depicting the murders of the elder generation of Heroes, beginning with Kaito's.  Since HRG was not in that picture and we know he doesn't have a power, can it be surmised that the painting of his death is from a different series?

Claire's boyfriend creeps me out.  And what happens when HRG wants to go to a game to make sure that Claire is safe and such?  She's not on the squad so how is she going to maneuver her way out of that situation?  I still say West is a plant by the company to try to find Claire and HRG.

I'm mildly interested in Micah's family's storyline.  I think that his cousin's power could be used to do a lot of good and a lot of bad so it'll be interesting to see where her story leads.  I wonder if his grandmother has a power and if so what it is.  I thought it was cute how Micah was trying to see if his power worked on humans too and when he found out it doesn't that he said he really wished it could.  (Not in so many words, but the meaning was implicit in how he phrased it.)

I hope Molly is ok and that Matt can find a way to pull her mind back to her body and such.  Boy is Mohinder going to be mad at him for making Molly do that.  I know that Molly offered, but Matt was totally not thinking of her welfare when he was still pursuing it after she really didn't want to do it.

Seriously, I'm getting kind of irritated with this show.  First though, I was so glad that Claire/West and the Mexicans weren't in it tonight.  Both of their storylines are completely unintriguing.

Parkman and Nathan teaming up was cool.  Do we think that Parkman's dad is the killer?  Now Parkman at least knows how to wake Molly up if he can just get to her.  Stupid Mohinder, taking her to the company.  I know he was trying to help, but seriously.  Where are HRG and the Haitian again?

Glad they explained how Peter got the lightning/electricity ability.  But I really don't know if I like Kristen Bell as an actress.  I can't tell if she's just a bad actress or if that's how she's playing the character.  The character is flat and uninteresting.

The reason I ask about Parkman's dad is because there were two photos.  His own and then Bob's.  Is someone (i.e. Bob) framing Parkman Sr. for the murders or is Parkman Sr. the killer and forgot to grab Bob's photo for delivery?

I did read a hypothesis that Parkman Sr.'s ability to trap people in dream states is how he's killing/attacking people.  There was no second body when Kaito was killed and Mrs. Petrelli's wounds were self-inflicted.  If he can invade Molly's head who's to say he can't invade other people's heads?  It's a thought to consider.

I'm not sure yet what to think of Monica and Micah but I did like seeing Micah enjoying a carefree moment or two.  (I'm referring to seeing him smiling and laughing when they're at the playground.)

Someone remind me when it was that Peter came into contact with Isaac, please.  I don't remember it but clearly he did because he had the ability to paint the future.  I wonder if he'll paint any more this season.

Thanks, Aisha.  I agree with you.  However, I do think the Sylar storyline is way overdone and the more screen time he has as Sylar the harder it's going to be for me to accept him as Spock.

I would stop watching the show if it turned out to be Hiro.  That would just make it about as bad as Lost in my book.  I mean, I can see the justification for the theory, but I just don't see them doing that because it doesn't fit with the Hiro we know.  The future Hiro from the future where NY doesn't get saved is another story, but since they saved NY I don't see it happening.
