I read the first and watched the movie. It's okay.
It was a long time ago. What glorious appearing - in the first book? -everybody just vanishes and goes to heaven and left their clothes and stuff behind.
I've read several books, watched several of the movies.
Most all are about the rapture for those who believe . . . and the total earth chaos for those who don't. Most of my pastors (big, mega church with 6 pastors) don't read or watch this stuff. It's very far out there. I personally like to believe in a God of love, the Jesus I imagine from the New Testament.

the gloriuous appearing is at the end of the 7 year tribulation period, way after the rapture.
im just not sure if the world ends, or then there is a 1000 year reign of christ on earth.
the glorious appearing would be in the last bok though, im guessing.

i get the rapture part, but i'm a little confused about what happens after that, and after tribulation, and everything.
yea, it is pretty far out there. its really entertaining though. it's kinda creepy to think about how it could happen tomorrow.
