3x07: Not in Portland promo pics (SPOILERS)

http://gallery.lost-media.com/thumbnails.php?album=1231

There's not really much going on in the pics, but it would seem that Jack is going to finish the work on Ben (like I knew he would) and it also seems like he's almost getting comfy hanging around with Julliet.

I just thought about something after watching the promo again... (hehe I don't know how many times I've watched it) But anyway, when Juliet says "bring them back and if you have to, kill them". I wonder if she is talking about Alex and Karl but they want you to think she is talking about Kate and Sawyer.

Big Time EW Spoilers Enjoy!!!replyPosted: Feb 03 @ 06:59 AM by: zekes_beard (7 Posts in the last 90 days) Registered: Jan 21, 2006 We were saving this for Wednesday, but Entertainment Weekly arrived today with its review of “Lost” 3.7 (the magazine gives it an “A”). Then a publicist for the show wrote to encourage us to post early. So …

“So you people are just … whatever’s left over of them.”
“That was a long time ago.”

LOST 3.7 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Not in Portland.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Carlton Cuse (“I Do”) and Jeff Pinkner (“The Glass Ballerina”).

What does ABC say?
“Jack is in command as the fate of Ben's life literally rests in his hands. Meanwhile, Kate and Sawyer find an ally in one of "The Others," and Juliet makes a shocking decision that could endanger her standing with her people. Guest starring are Robin Weigert as Rachel, M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly/Tom, William Mapother as Ethan, Blake Bashoff as Karl, Tania Raymonde as Alex, Michael Bowen as Pickett, Ariston Green as Jason, Teddy Wells as Ivan, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Steve Labrash as morgue employee, Kimberly Estrada as Sherry, Rob McElhenney as Aldo and Zeljko Ivanek as Edmund.”

Robin Weigert is Calamity Jane on “Deadwood”! Who is Rachel?
Juliet’s sister.

“/Tom”? Does Mr. Friendly have a clone or something?
We learn this week that Tom – not Zeke – appears to be Mr. Friendly’s real first name.

The big news?
This is the best episode of “Lost” since its third-season premiere. Also? We learn Juliet knocked up a male field mouse.

What else is ABC not telling us?
It’s the first Juliet-centric episode, but it also clears up a lot of the mystery surrounding Alex, the youngster who helped pregnant Claire escape The Others’ medical facility way back in the middle of season one.

I’m thinking Juliet was maybe just testing Jack when she asked him to kill Ben. Do we learn this week whether or not she was merely tricking Jack?
We do.

Do we learn this week if Juliet went to medical school on Dharma Island?
We do. And we learn precisely how long Juliet has listed Dharma Island as her home address.

Do we learn this week why The Others don’t just take Ben to a friendlier spinal surgeon back in the world?
We do.

What’s doing with Hurley?
As with 3.1, the only original cast members who appear in 3.7 are Jack, Kate and Sawyer. That means no Hurley, no Locke, no Sayid, no Jin, no Sun, no Claire, no Charlie. Also? No Desmond, no Penelope Widmore, no Charles Widmore, no Danielle Roussou, no Rose, no Bernard, no Nikki, no Paulo.

Do we learn this week why The Others asked specifically for Jack Shepherd, Kate Austin, Hugo Reyes and James Ford?
No.

Do we learn why The Others decided to put Sawyer and Kate to work moving rocks around?
No.
Do we learn why The Others are so keen on kidnapping children?
No.

Do we learn what The Others were doing to Walt?
No.

Do we learn why Shannon saw Walt’s doppelganger in the woods the night she died?
No.

Do we learn why Libby pretended not to know Hurley?
No.

Do we learn why the world doesn’t blow up now that Swan Station, which somehow protected the world, has been destroyed?
No.

Do we learn how Desmond survived the destruction of Swan Station, or how he acquired clairvoyance?
No.

Are we given any clues as to how Penelope and Charles Widmore fit into what’s going on?
We are not.

Do we learn if Ben Linus built the smoke monster?
We do not.

Does the smoke monster eat anybody this week?
No. The smoke monster gets the week off.

Is the mighty Hercules telling us what’s not in the episode because he’s prohibited from revealing too much about what is in the episode?
Very likely.

What’s good?
The many surprises. All the screen time allotted Elizabeth Mitchell’s kisser. Jack and Sawyer taking care of business.

What’s not so good?
Jack gets some alone time with Friendly, but doesn’t bother to ask a lot of the questions he and the viewers have stockpiled.

How does it End?

After some prompting, Juliet reveals to Jack something Ben told her, then trots off.

Found this from Neil Wilkes' "spoiler spot" on digitalspy.co.uk. He's kind of similar to Kristin and Ausiello, but a UK version - obviously since the UK are now only gonna be days behind the US, we get some scoop of our own lol:
ost: Episode seven of Lost is Juliet-centric, following her backstory from her days as a brilliant scientist/researcher. Back on the island, Lost goes 24 - the episode charts the hour after Jack makes his demand and, despite some reports, the action stays solely with our gang on the second island.

Here are seven things about episode seven I can tell you - but be warned, I've thrown a couple red herrings in. Just for a laugh.

1. Ben wakes up in the middle of his surgery with a message for Juliet.
2. Ethan is back from the dead.
3. One character is killed in a Final Destination-style death.
4. We are the causes of our own suffering.
5. Jack finally tells Kate that he loves her.
6. Either Ben's daughter or her boyfriend is shot by Juliet.
7. God loves you as He loves Jacob.

I think that Juliet is talking about Picket and his goons and that she is betraying them and not Jack. Just a thought.

 Let's see....

1.  I find this likely, but don't have any other info to go on - so, could be a red herring ... but prolly the truth.

2. This is true, but the statement is cryptic.

3.  This is also true according to all the spoilers I've read.

4. Uh . is this a spoiler or a fortune cookie ?

5. Sounds interesting ... but I doubt it. Possible red herring.

6. Not unless Juliet shoots two people because she's already supposed to be shooting someone else.

7. What ?

I'd say 4 - 7 hold the red herrings within them :)

Oh yeah! That could be another possibility.

That stinks... because in the promos they make it look like our original cast members are in it and are going out to find Jack, Kate and Sawyer. I guess that must be 3.8.

Here's a pic fom the "Winter" promo stuff. I'mnot sure what epi, but I thought it was interesting. Is Desmond having a run in with "Smokie"?

The look in his eyes tell me that it's something a wee bit frightening.

Another image from the promo. I would think this one is from the next epi.

Is it me or are they getting help? Also..is it Alex (I think so) or...could it be Dannielle? It's a bit hard to tell even in the photo when it's enarged.

It's immediately after the hatch implosion. Poor Desmond!

He saw the future perhaps? And it wasn't pretty.

Definately Alex. And some guard

I think its pretty obvious what happens to desmond. We all recall the images of Eko in the smoke monster right? We have mostly seen pics of desmonds upcoming episode. We all know des has become sort of psychic... but not really. "you don't want to know what happened to me". I think we do know des. Des has been forced to relive his entire life up until death. In one of the spoiler threads were they say what will NOT be in 3.07 it is stated that the smoke monster will not be in the episode.... that ole smokey gets a week off. This probably means ole smokey will return in 3.08. The hatch implodes.... Eko, Locke and Desmond all somehow survive. Then Eko is killed by smokey. His last words are "your next". John mistakes this for being a reference to the group. Really Eko meant John is next. On the island you can't die until your lifes conflict is resolved. That is why the three survived the implosion. So Eko had to give his confession. I'm not exactly sure what John has to do.... probably something to do with "putting the family back together".

Now heres the real spoiler.... We know desmond battles with the idea that he is a coward and continually runs. Many people refer to him as such in his episodes. We know he is saving his book to read right before he dies..."great idea if you know when your gonna die" it is foreshadowed by the guard who releases him. The thing is, now he does know when he is going to die and how. He will be faced with a choice where he has to go do the thing that he knows will cause his death... Thus being faced with the resolution of his so called cowardliness. Since his story with Penny requires resolution she will appear on the island either during this or before.

I don't think this is really too spoilerish but in April there is supposed to be another Juliette episode that starts off right where episode 7 ended.
