One of the previews promised us "3 big reveals" and imply that they are:

1. The story behind Jack's tattoos.
2. What happened to the kids.
3. What happened to Cindy.

I'm curious to see how these are answered. Will they be answered in entirety or just lead to more questions?

It was a great appy. Is Jack being completely sincere ? Is he using them against themselves still ? What's going on ? And did anyone find it just a little bit lame that he demanded all this out of the Asian woman when he is such a man of logic and facts ? He made her tattoo him ? I dunno, I had a difficult time connecting the two portions of the show.

I find myself sometimes feeling sorry for Sawyer. Doesn't he know that if she weere with jack heading back to the beach with the Losties she'd be just as fast to try to go back for him as well ? She almost got herself shot by Danny trying to push Sawyer out of the way of a bullet. She loves both men.

They tease us so much. Promising such mind blowing answers, but they give us this small peek and then create larger questions. Arrggg ....... but I'm sucked in ... can't give it up.

I feel like though that in some way, because they have so many plot lines going on that if they're not careful it's going to become scattered and loose it's tightness.

Doesn't Kate look like such a little girl sometimes ?

So, we get the plain meaning of the tattoo, but what's the deeper meaning or the interpreted meaning ? One who walks among us, but isn't one of us.

Next week - Hurley finds the car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, I love the whole Karl and Alex looking at the same stars under the same sky .... reminds me of some fanfiction somebodys been writing in here....

1. - he got them in Phuket from a woman that can "see the real person" she saw Jack as an outsider.

2. - They were taken by the others to give them a better life (by the other's definition).

3. - She has been assimilated or was an other beforehand (couldn't tell).

OK..now I'm wondering about how they intend on carrying this show throught the end of this season. I know that they had given us all inside info that this season was going to be more ship based, but that's starting to get old to me now. I liked the epi overall, but I was only interested in the tat story, and I could really care less about the Juliette/Jack storyline now. They are pushing things to many dirrections instead of puolling what we already know, and are wondering about together. i will still watch, because it's still better than most crap on, but i'm not sure howmuch it's going to be "Must see" TV for me.
Speaking of that. ****WARNING*** I will more than likely not be in here next Wed night. It's not going to be on here until 5 after midnight due to state hockey games, and I work that night. So I will more than likely not come in to avoid the epi chat. I'll catch it in the morning, and talk about it the next day/night.

Also... I didn't like that they are not actually letting us in on the whole TAT thing. We only saw that the writing was on Jacks arm after it was done. So...what's up with the rest?

I noticed that on that Tat as well - only had the writing. But it seemed that when she was getting ready to start she was much higher up on his shoulder - that didn't make sense to me.

Ok....

1. He has been being "scouted" for some time, and I think even more so that there was some intention behind the crash.

2. She's in with them from before the crash. If not I'd be betting she wouldn't be all calm, and hanging out like it was just another day in her life.

P.S. Seems strange that the kids didn't seem to age at all since the begining of last season. That works great for the show, but for real.....Walt wasn't on last year because of his growth. Did JJ and crew give these kids some growth stopper?

I think what happened was, they were trying to connect the two stories ... Jacks tattoos and his experience with the woman and this ting with him/Juliet and the others .... but it was too rushed. The actress was very stiff and hard to empathize with. We were not given a good enough insight as to why all of this was sooooo serious to the people on that island. It was rushed and didn;t really lay it out enough for us to get what they were trying to say.

So Jack hooks up with this chick while flying a kite? Um....OK. There were times I couldn't even understand what she was saying. There are a thousand other Asian actress' that they could have found that I'm sure could have done better. The reason behind this has to be "Popularity" ...She's very well known and thought to be HOT among the "MAXIM MAG" crowds. She's done many photo shoots, and some are too um....yeah non-PG for me to post pics of here.

As for him and Jules....I don't see it. It's just seeming to me that they are forcing that idea on me. Let me think that since Jack has seen Sawyer/kate getting jiggy with it that he doesn't care, and is moving on to someone with a common interest.

I think the connection between Jack and Jules is one of common ground more than Love at First Sight. They are "thrust" together. I'm thinking the Jack - Asian thing is more of Jack being the rebel - put it in the timeframe of his life - he has been through eveything else we have seen in FBs and now he is trying to "find himself" he meets up with someone that claims that she can define him - so, he tells her to.

That's a good read Brax. I think at this point Jack may have finally found himself, and that's why the FB played in at this time. It showed his attempt to do it at another time in his life, but this was before he had closed certain chapters of his life.

But, is he really going along with them ? Or is he taking advantage of his situation? Or, does he just feel he has no way out ?

I am thinking that Jack right now isd still looking at this as his way out. He maybe is planning on using Jules to his advantage at some point. It worked to help his friends so now it's his turn. How much bigger of a dept is there than to save someones life?

Yes. Oh, I'm sorry, you had three questions in there didn't you? But I think the answer is all of the above in combination. He has already figured out that as the only surgeon, he has great power - at the moment - they need him and as long as they do, he is more in control and we all know that Jack likes to be in control of the situation.

I think the control may be the biggest thing for him. Could we maybe see that in time he sides with them to become the next "Ben: so to speak?

Wouldn't it be ironic if the finale of Lost is a big confrontation between the Losties and the Others and Jack is leading the Others and Kate (who was originally supposed to lead the Losties) leads the opposition to him....

strangerin a strange land..... ... a little heinlein for us... it waS A VERY SEXUAL BOOK FOR SCI-FI....wrtten by elizabeth sarnoff and christina kim.... elizabeth has done wonderful stories for our ladies....

it starts with jack being transfered to the cage and jliet to the aquarium... as they pass they look... what did that look say? goodluck? i'm with you? trust me? help me? interesting way they used the glances in this epi... don't overlookthat when you rewatch it....

kate and sawyaer in the canoe...anyone pickup on sawyer making the decisions for kate? she interprets it that way instead of caring for her....that's kate.... it's what sawyer can't undersTND... kate can't take not being free.... not beingin control.....

and the glasshouse line...no comment on that??? he calls the others killers and kidnappers... and is told to examine his own little group...this is important

jackis told that juliettis introuble and he fallls back to his natuarl self... he tries to fix it.... when juliet visits later, and talks of ben's infected stitcdhes,this gives him the way to fix things...

sawyer and kate argue and make camp.... they ask karl questions and are told the kids are bettter off with the others... they have a better life..then talks about ursa teodoris... the teddy bear.... perhaps he was one carrrying it??

jack came to phuket to find himself... he finds a mysterious woman with a gift...she won't reveal it to him...kate doesn't reveal herself to him either... will juliet? achara tells him he won't understand her gift....

we also meet the sheriff, isabel... anyone check the namefor meaning??? she reads chinese and interprets the symbols on jack's arm.... they hold a tribunal for juliet... jack lies for her...making her indebted.... jack sez 'turning you people against each other causes chaos...' he tells themhe has learned fromthem....

no one is getting anything over on jack anymore....
