sawyer does his 'boysonly' thing with karl and tells him to cowboy up.... HOW DID SMITTY KNOW ABOUT THE BRADY BUNCH???? great line... great moment!! sawyer's question and statemnet about loving a woman...kate or cassidy? who willhe die for? evr so often there's one.....

alex asks jack why he saved ben...'i said i would...' direction and misdirection.... remember this tactic in writing and storytelling and life....

ben is stilllin charge... isabelw will do what he says... he reveals etahn as his surgeon...he transmutes juliet's sentence.... but sez 'juliet doesn't care about you jack'.... some thing else of importance....

in the flashback, jack follows achara to her place of business... she is frced to reveal her gift...'i'm able to see who people are...' 'it's not decorarion,it's definition...' she defines jack 'you are a leader, a great man. thius makes you lonely....this makes you frightened and this makes you angry...'

he is looking for himself. she gives a definition that he wants to hear. he wants the label put on him....literally... she tatoos him.... becuz he has shamed her(?) he is beaten and she spurns him....

in real time, juliet is marked as a killer? as a betrayer? as what by her tribe... jack continues to try to fix it...using aloe...can anyone here duplicate the mark or get a screen cap? jack and juliet are now both marked people...marked for what??

jack goes home with the others and is told his 'too means

'he walks aqmongst us but is not one of us...'

and sez ...but that's not what it means....

meanwhile, sawyer lets kate go free... wise move if he wants to keep her.... not just pushing her away to protect himself from hurt.... but another manipulation to keep her close... if you love some one,let them go......

jack and juliet glance at each other at the end of the show... what did it say?? trust me?? we're in this together? we're two peaas in a pod??

that's what to look for.... it's complicated....

someone on the ABC board said, and I agree, that the whole trial, moving Juliet, etc.... was a setup.  I don't think they were ever going to execute Juliette.  She knew the consequences of killing Pickett, if indeed execution was a consequence.  She appeared to be a pretty good shot and could have just shot his hand the gun was in.

BTW - JUST wanna point out - they did the imagery thing again.  If you recorded the show - look at the kite flying  swaying in the wind in front of the sun - does it REMIND you of anything ?  A grass plane held over a fire ? A plastic plane held over fire ? A glass ballerina held over fire ....

I dunno, but seeing as this has been the umpteen they show us that same repetitive theme, it's definately intentional, I don't care what Jorge said. I'm also surprised noone mentioned Des alarm clock reading 108 and then Penny saying the end of the world and then the icrowav beeping like the hatch, and then the delivery guy saying flight 815.
