well skiing was fun today i hung out with Joy for most of the day and we had a good time skiing. when we went in for lunch i saw these two really, really attractive snowboarder guys one had wavy dark brown hair and looked to be the younger one(18-19, i think) and the other had shaggish light brown hair, i think he was about 21. i watched them while i was eating lunch and was kinda sad when we went back out to ski some more.

later, when we made our way back down to the bottom of the mountain, i spotted the jacket that the darker haired one had been wearing it seemed he and his brother, the lighter haired one( i think it was his brother, could have been his friend) were taking snowboard lessons! so Joy and i stayed down at the bottom lift and watched them while they did their lesson( they were ok, now great but ok). and i knew the person giving the lesson so i would ski by them everytime i went down the hill and say a little something, like looking good or you guys having fun? little things like that

well, i happened to be at the bottom of the lift about to get in line when i saw that their teacher was taking off for the lodge cause their lesson was over, so i waited at the lift for them. they came sliding up and i asked if they'd had a good lesson. they said it was a good lesson and the dark haired one told me to go ahead on the lift(gentleman! ) the chair lift fits three people so i asked him to come along with me he said sure if i was brave enough to risk it(snowboarders sometimes trip as they get off the lift and can take down who ever else is on the chair with them) i assured him i would be fine and we got on the chair. now this lift is not a very long one but it is rather slow oh, and his brother (or friend) got on the chair behind us, i figured that i shouldn't be greedy and pick only one to flirt with and i liked the darker haired one more anyway the other was really cute thought too!

i just noticed this post is mostly about the guys i saw today, not about skiing. is that a sad thing?

anyway, i asked him where he was from and he said New York( long way from home!) but he said he had been coming here for the passed 12 years! he said he'd snowboarded in a town called Angel Fire a few years ago( i might be going there next week! i love that ski area!) and he had been skiing in Taos since he first started coming here(he skis, snowboards, is a gentleman, and is really hot! what more could a girl ask for?) i asked him if he was a pretty good skier and he said he can go down all the black diamonds runs( the hardest ones) i was impressed! and told him so.

after we got off the lift, without triping or falling over, i told him that it was very nice to meet him and we kind of parted ways. as i headed off though, i heard him say to his brother/friend that this was the last run they were going to make. so i skied down to the bottom of the hill and waited( i'm a stalker, i know). i was kinda kicking myself for not getting his name, that was why i was waiting. so i watched them board down the hill and once he was down i skiied over to him to ask his name ( i knew his brother's/friend's name cause i heard their teacher say it, it was Dan ) he said his name was Eli i of course told him my name and then asked how long he was going to be in town for, i was hoping that he might still be there next week. but sadly, he said he was leaving this Friday, but he would be back next year! i told him i would be there next year too and maybe i would see him them, i really, really hope i see him next year!

and that was my day

oh i also fell down only once, but it was right after i had just said something to Eli and Dan while there were taking their lesson stupid, i know

ok, now about my day skiing yesterday

we(my mom, Joy, and I) stayed at a friend's house after the day of skiing on Tuesday so we wouldn't have to get up quite so early the next day. our friend whose house we stayed at has hi-speed wi-fi, so that is how i made my one post the other night

on Wednesday, we got up early( the only bad thing about skiing) and drove to the ski area. we got our tickets and put on all our stuff then waited around for the lesson to start. i was not looking forward to the lesson because the lessons we get at the other place where we normally ski are boring but it ended up just being Joy and i in a lesson by ourselves, and our teacher was awesome! so we had a great time in the lesson, and even learned a few things

after the lesson was over(about noon) we stoped back by at the bottom of the mountain to get our vampire capes and then headed back up to the top of some lunch lunch was great, fresh grilled burgers with cheese and a wonderful view of the mountain as we ate

for the next hour or so we just skied wherever we thought looked good. my favorite run was a blue(medium difficulty) called Jasper's

then when we were heading down the easist run down the mountain, i saw Joy ahead of me skiing backwards! we had been together most of the day but had split off from each other for about 20 minutes. i guess in that time she had talked to this guy who was skiing backwards and got a little jealous that he could do it and was practicing when i caught up to her. of course i couldn't be out done, so i started trying it too. it took only one run for both of us to be able to ski backwards and even do 360's so for the rest of the day we spent our time practicing skiing backwards and doing circles. we can now do them without falling down at all and can do it while skiing rather fast! it is so fun to be going down the hill backwards! and to do 360's

and that was my day we didn't really guy hunt while we where there but we did get a some comments on our capes from a few cute guys

Man, I'd have trouble skiing forwards much less backwards!

Glad you had a good day!

well i had a great time yestesday at Zack's party i showed up there around 6:00 and jumped right into a game of Halo 3. i knew everyone who was there, except one guy. Jesse was there, and another kid i know from homeschool projects(and he was in my Hunter's Safety class). one of Zack's older brother's was there also. i played Halo with Zack, the guy i didn't know, and his brother.

the guy i didn't know was very kind and helpful, telling me what buttons did what( i rock at Halo 2 but the 3rd one is a little different) and showing me around the levels. i guessed his name was Trevor because Joy has talked about him a little bit before and said he was going to be at Zack's party( he is Zack's best friend). he was also very funny, making jokes while we were playing

the whole time i was playing i was sitting very near the tv( i can't see things very well unless i sit close, i need new contacts) so i never got a good look at Trevor until after we were done playing, which was like an hour and a half after i showed up. we all got up to get some pizza and i looked back at Trevor and Zack's brother who had been sitting on the couch behind me the whole time. Zack's brother was still sitting but Trevor had stood up. now i am used to tall guys, Jesse is 6'3, and my friend James is about 6' also, but both of them have a lean build. Trevor on the other hand has really wide shoulders, almost like a football player. he's the same height as Jesse but about half again as wide. he looked kind of intimidating standing next to me, but when i commented on him being so tall he kinda grinned sheepishly at me, said sorry and crouched down a little bit to be closer to my height (i'm 5' 2'') he just looked so cute when he did that! and no longer seemed at all imtimidating "A giant teddy bear" is how Joy described him and that is what he is. he has dark brown hair that is slightly curly, brown eyes, and is just the sweetest guy ever! ( can someone say "Kate has a crush"? )

i talked to him just a little bit as we ate and then more as we all tried to pick a movie to watch. he was so funny as we tried to pick a movie! making more jokes we ended up watching "Tremor". and while we did, i sat on the couch closest to the tv(again, i need new contacts), with Jesse and Zack.

when it was over, i heard Joy and Trevor say my name so i moved to the couch they were sitting on. everyone else had gotten up to get something to eat or drink, leaving just the two of them on the couch. i had acquired a small, soft pillow earlier in the night from a small pillow fight so i took that with me when i moved to the new couch. i sat down next to Trevor (Joy was on his other side) and asked if they had been talking about me ( i was wondering if Trevor had been asking about me, and if he had what Joy had told him). they said that had just been saying little things about me all through the movie, like that i looked bored or other little things like that. i figured that was harmless enough, but it gave me the chance to do something i really wanted to do. i propped up my pillow on Trevor's shoulder and put my head on it

i then proceded to question him and Joy about why they had been talking about me in the first place. i found it was very comfy leaning on Trevor's shoulder (i was feeling slightly flirty also) and i ended up staying like that for about an hour(give or take 1/2 hour) i made sure to ask him if he minded me leaning on him and he assured me it was fine during the hour or so that i was attached to his shoulder, we talked about quite a few random things he is from the same town my grandpa grew up in and i was telling him a little about the things my grandpa used to do when he was growing up. and he told me about some of the places he has gone hiking in the mountains it was interesting to lean on his shoulder and look up at him from that postion while talking

but sadly, it got late and we had to move upstairs and go to bed. we did the moving upstairs thing but not the going to bed thing. instead, Joy, Zack, Jesse, Trevor, and i all sat on Joy's bed while i read my vampire story to them Trevor really liked it after i was done reading i got to lay against Trevor for a moment before the guys left to their room for the night

it was 5:00am before we went to sleep though, Joy and i stayed up and i asked her little things about Trevor since she has known him much longer.

the nest morning(or afternoon since Joy and i didn't get up until after noon) i played a little bit more Halo with the guys before Trevor had to go. i thanked him for being such a wonderful pillow the night before and he said it was no problem

i hope i get to see him again, he was such a nice guy, and really sweet and funny he's not like most of the guys i find attractive, i seems to go for the leaner, non-football player looking guys. but Trevor is just so sweet you can't help but to like him

and everyone had such a great time that they were talking about having another party in the summer to go hiking for the day up in the mountains! that would be so fun!

i really lost track of time on that one

it was obvious that early in the post?

i should have asked him that, i wonder what his answer would have been? something funny i am sure

my birthday was good! had a good day at James' we played video games for a little while and then went for a walk up to Joy's house. it was nice to see her on my birthday we stayed at her house for awhile and then we walked back down to James' house. then another one of my (and James') friends stopped by haven't seen him in a long time so it was nice to see him again

and today was good too! went to lunch with my mom, a few of her friends, and my friend Joy had a great time at lunch! good girl time! and after we got home my mom
and i went to the river we hiked around for a while and took some cool pictures.

all in all it was a good few days

P.S. as i was typing this Daniel called!!!!!!!! it was so nice to hear from him! i'm so happy that he called!
