I'm nervous mainly because I don't like my feet off the ground, and with the extra security, it should make me feel safer, but it makes me more nervous!

It's not as bad now as it was even a oouple of years ago as far as being to intrusive. They still do the random searches (Kala had one in FLA...scared the daylights out of her :) )
Other than that it was pretty smooth.
I guess I've never been troubled by flying. Even after 911. I was flying to Hawaii the following year.

lol!!  Well, I got this bag from work. Really nice ... it's caboodles and it hold sht e blow dryer and the flat iron plus hair smoothing stuff and shampoo, brushes yadda yadda ...

I have to finish the laundry so I can figure out what to pack. and I have to see what the weather is like there. I know it's hot, but what kind of hot?

Just so you know. Make sure you have no large size containers of any kind of liquid in your purse/carry on. Like even a regular size tube of toothpaste. They will take it, and you can either let them throw it away or you can find a way to check it. So I advise you

to put all of your toiletries in your luggage. Angie had to let them throw away a new (Still in the un-opened box) tube of toothpaste, a bottle of lotion (To big), and a nottle of perfume. Also if you are going to have even small containers of liquids like a small perfume or something. You need to have it in a baggy. It can't be loose in your purse/carry-on.

 Oh! I didn't think you could take any liquids on the plane. I miss the days where you could take a carry on only wihtout the hassle of a checked suitcase. I feel more comfortable if I know I can lay my hands on my stuff. This unlocked baggage thing is a bit unnerving.
