Oh and you remember how i was going to the movies last night with Jen, well after much decision and discusion.. we(ie me refusing to see Harry Potter) choose Knocked Up.... which was one of the funniest films i've seen, haven't laughed that much in ages!!!
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
LL....unfortunatly I can pretty much promise you'll never see Chasing Amy on TV. It's not really racey, but enough that editing it would totaly take the feel away from it, plus it hits a harsh spot for some. One of it's main characters is a lesbian. So regardless of the love story between boy/girl I don't think it's going to ever see TV. I've never seen it on TV. I'm afraid that may have to be a rental.
Actually if it's just language I'm not to worried about that here. I sat and watched "Waiting" the other night with the super, and it's not a very clean show at all.
Sir Snootch wrote:I'll go the the theatre for the Simpsons just because. I've contemplated going to see Knocked Up a few times with Angie, but there are just too many other things I need to see. So we've been seeing a good deal of different flicks. Her and Kala will hit something they want to see, and I hit my flicks. Like when I went to Transformers. They didn't want to see it, and so I hit that, and they went to some other "Chick" flick kinda thing.
Sounds about right, there have been so many good films coming out of late!!! Can understand you completely, i've been so busy of late that i've not actually had much time to get to the movies, have missed and or will miss alot on the big screen!!! Plus with Football season fast coming up i'll prob not make it too much anymore either, but thats alright.... thats what dvds are for!!!
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

Also you went to see knocked up. Now I've heard that it was so funny. I'm glad to know that someone I know has seen it, and said the same. I doubt I'll get around to seeing it in the theatre. I still need to see Die Hard, and H.P., and then the new Bourne movies coming, the Simpsons. It's just way to much to see all at the threatre.
I can't wait to see the new Bourne movie aye, love those films!!! also really looking forward to the Simpsons movie, though that'll be dvd i think!! yeah Knocked Up is class, very real in its comedy... very smart and actually has a good heart to it too!!!

enjoy dan!! without the reruns of the game, i would have had dificulty myself!!!
With the amount i've had going on the last couple of months its not actually been tooo bad, can't really believe the new season is here already!!! So i guess in a way all the crap has been good.... Thats really funny, editing the films... i never knew that!! Really amazing stuff Anyway i'm really going now, take care all
what kevin smith does with sexuality in his movies is amazing! and it comes across with such biting humor!!
It does come across harsh if you take it that. way. But like you said. He does it in a way to allow people to really just laugh. Because his characters also make it easy to almost see them as normal everyday people. Just that he puts them in very un-normal situations.

LL you'll love the new season. I liked it last season, but the new stuff so far has been better yet. The first one sort of left a bit of a question mark on me though.
