Omg ... I was sitting here listening to Rock the Casbah by The Clash and I heard this little twittling noise that sounded just like a tipical cellphone. I haven't used my cellphone since I got back from Chicago ... okay, once, but that was like two or three months ago. I don't know where the danged phone is so it's not on and it has to be recharged. So I'm like - what the heck?? Then I realize it's coming from the speakers ... it's coming from the song!!!!

When did cellphones come out? Did we have them in 82?

Lock the cashbox? winkThere was some commercial on last year I think where a couple of guys were trying to figure out the lyrics to that song and "lock the cashbox" was one of the things they said. Was it a cell phone commercial?
