I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
beth had some backbone and drive in this epi! she is showing a real interest in mick and we got to see her reporter/investigative skills put into effect tonite. the question is...
Beth was very out of character tonight. (It must've been a dream)
This was my first episode... now I have to get caught up!
Spoiler
That would be cool if it was a dream because that would be terrible if Beth actually killed Coraline. And also from what everyone has been saying about Mick, it seems like out of character for him to take Coraline back so easily.

i don't know, this scene just kinda stuck with me and wouldn't get out of my head until i wrote something about it. if another scene does that i will be writting another fic but if not then i don't think i will be writting more
Here's some interesting plot theory for y'all to sink your teeth into.
Oh man, FINALLY got to watch "fleur de lis"...wow...not sure what to think about this one. What was really pissing me off, though, aside from Coraline (manipulative [wench]!) getting all over Mick, was her worming her way into Beth's workplace. It seems like not ONLY does she want the man, she wants the job, like she wants to replace Beth fully, perhaps because Beth didn't fit into her wacked out vision of a perfect little family.
Some people commented that they thought Beth was being[...]in this episode, but...I don't know...I think I'd be pretty bitchy too! Here is this crazed kidnapper from the past trying to come back and take over her life, her newfound blossing love thing...
Coraline is the kind of girl who seems to have everything (down to the designer shoes) with a twirl of her hair.
(This next is in response to a response to a post I made asking about the fleur de lis on Coraline's back.)
this also struck me as odd. I mean, the make-up people I'm sure could make something that looks like a brand, so why didn't they? Here's a thought - why is Mick so sure that coraline told him the truth about her past anyhow? How else could he have verified this? He wasn't around until the 1950's anyway...I guess Coraline just told him she used to be a French courtesan in the 18th century, was branded etc etc...we did only see the brand in Beth's VISION of events. Maybe Coraline is lying about her "sexy" past because that's part of her temptress persona. Maybe she's something else altogether....some kind of new breed...and always has been....?? This would give possibilities for Mick perhaps being something else......some kind of alternate vampire species.
Maybe Josef knows this too and doesn't want to tell Beth? maybe Josef waged a war with Coraline and her alterna-breed and was happy to see her dead?? Ooohh...conspiracy!!! lol. cuz Josef was alive back then, right?
I stole both of these from a Moonlight group on facebook but edited out the swearing.

interesting!!!!! and if Mick were a slightly different kind of vampire then maybe there is a cure of the type he is!!!
thanks for posting that Paints! i am so glad that you watch Moonlight too! now almost everyone on here does
Will Beth be arrested? Tune in next time, to see if Mick will ever see through Coraline for what she really is. Come on Mick, don't waste all those years you protected Beth.
