BTW I want to say that the Charlie swimming thing was something they actually went through in his FB epi when they had that scene witht he pool. He could swim, but he had a fear due to something that I can't remember. Maybe his father or something like that. I also think he made some statement in the epi that he made the choice to go out in the canoe to dive to the hatch about it...

he was afraid daddy wouldn't catch him... we kicked this around somewhat in both the rewatchers and the pol threads... kindof agreed that he said he couldn't swim cuz he was still using.... it made sense....

He might have made the choice to go off the boat, but he dove in and swam down as if he had done it before. As if he already knew how.
