Okay, I was watching Lost from the beginning, been through the first four eppies. I wanna know.
1. Why the heck Kate never gets hurt when whatever man is with her either gets majorly injured or dies???
2. Why is kate sitting there in Australia eating a hearty traditional breakfast when she's a vegger?
3. How was Charlie so effortlessly able to dive in the water and swim down to the Looking Glass when he admitted in the fourth eppy that he could not swim and that's why he didn't go out and try to help the drowning lady that Jack wasn't able to save??
Are these simply bloopers? Or did Desmond return to an alternate reality after the hatch implosion?

many have wondered about that breakfast for the vegetarian kate... some have even said that kate often lies... hmmm....
charlie... i figured one of these times he was lying... maybe the first cuz he was still strung out on heroin and swimming would have benn interesting if you are high....

Well, but it would make sense when you think that Des saw Charlie drowning trying to save Claire. He would drown if he couldn't swim. Which makes one wonder, since he obviously could swim down to the Looking Glass, was Desmond having premonitions or getting flashes from somewhere else and getting them mixed up with the present? meaning, perhaps the flashes weren't premonitions but remnants of another time deminsion ? If so, the poor man sent Charlie to his grave for no reason ... arg!
