the numbers... makes sense that they were on the hatch and broadcast in the radio signal... if these are the numbers that are entered into the computer, and this saves the world, wouldn't it make sense to let anyone who gets caught in the net of the island to know them and remember them? what better way than to broadcast them and have them written on an access point to the place where the computer is....
Not really as far as the numberson the hatch go. They were on the outside of the hatch, and in many cases if someone was to be digging up something they wouldn't dig all down every side of the thing if they found the lid on the top. they would deal with the lid, and let it be at that.
