red dwarf was hilarious!!! it just kept getting better! i guess tampa pbs was better than i thought....

Man why does that not surprise me at all!! I knew by a roundabout way that there was a american version, but have never seen anything of it!! Wouldn't, just because it would never come close to the proper version... the first!!
I'm sure if you'd not seen the UK one then the US one would be very good...

i will have to check bbc-america to see if they are running that at all! i didn't realize....

Oh that show is gold, pure comedy gold!!!! all 10 or so seasons of it!!!!

Plus Lister is Scouse, lovely to listen to a pure Scouse accent for once on the telly!!

There were only ever 12 eps of the Office made(two seasons) and then the Christmas Special which was a double ep!! The Brits know when they're onto a good thing and then end it... rather than Rocky 8 or 9??! haha... sorry just watched whichever one is the latest the other day, terrible!!

I'm ok. I'm already getting annoyed by one roommate, but that's nothing really knew in the realm of living with other people. I'm feeling better about this whole masters thing now that I've been to a class and it isn't that much different from a couple of the classes I took in my last semester as an undergrad.

You are right Paints. it's always going to be a bit off when you live with other people you don't know.
As for the schooling. I'm glad to hear that you have hings going in the right dirrection from the start. You'll do great.

Yeah, both roommates showed up on Sunday night. Now the apartment is less creepy but I'd almost rather be living on my own again.

Thanks. I just remember from the Dead Man's Chest premiere when he was walking down the carpet. One of the girls near me was screaming his name but he didn't walk down our way. At one point I think she explained to someone else around us that he was on The Office. Yes, Snootch, the one-eyed pirate. Can't remember if it's Pintel or Ragetti.

So I watched "Never Been Kissed" tonight and I feel so stupid. I can't tell you how many times I've watched it and never realized that James Franco is in it.

Not when you're a first year grad student living in graduate student dorms in a dorm complex that is inhabited by freshmen. And the only guys I've really met so far haven't been ones that I would go out with. (Nor have they been all that cute.)

That'd be right, the cult following of the Office is so large it doesn't really deserve the cult success tag, belittles it alittle!! It was his big break(along with afew others)

Man i know how you feel on that one, i've done that afew times of late.... makes you feel like your living while asleep!!
