I haven't seen Pirates 3.... struggled through number 2 and lost all interest to be honest!!

I'm really not so much a Summer Blockbuster person....

Two was pretty bad too, but not near as awful as 3. Don't waste your time on the third.

Duely noted!! I must admit i did kinda enjoy the first one(though didn't LOVE it) but it got very Matrix'y' in the next 2... trying to be to big and Glossy i think!!

The first pirates was so great because it was fresh and original and creative. The second was an attempt at recreating that magic of the first, but it failed. That's why they ended the movie where they did so they were guaranteed to get that third film out into theaters.

Isn't always the way, onto something good... so they just try and make more of the same thing!!!
Matrix, Pirates, Home Alone(the first was good when i was little anyway), Die Hard, Star Wars.. the list goes on and on!!

I wish Lucas had never made that insipid prequel trilogy to Star Wars. And I never saw The Matrix, but I did hear that the sequels were horrendous. I loved Home Alone when I was younger, but I really can't stand to watch it now. I'm not sure why...

I sincerely wish(as a big fan of the original movies) that Lucas had just put the new 3 movies out as books, that way those who were real fans and wanted to know the details of the story could find out.. and he'd have never put such a dent in what was such a great trilogy!!
Completely agreed about Home Alone.. the only Kids film that i LOVED when i was younger and can still go back and watch is Hook!!

I loved them back then, but after about the age of 10 i couldn't watch them anymore!!!
