Heroes left me so confused. Sorry you couldn't see it, Lion.
Spoiler
I didn't see the symbol! Good eye!! Yea, the girl was overacting a bit. 'Course what she can do is pretty frightening, but I saw that a mile away. It was like 4400.
Not your fault, Kate. It just makes me lose faith in the human race is all.
I'm kinda certain that's just an emotional response because if problems with a vcr makes you loose faith in the human race for real then there's a serious problem here. I mean, stuff like the Holocaust or people abandoning their babies in an alley is worthy of a statement like that. Not, the salesclerk at radio shack was rude.
Although I quite empthize with the frustration.
A, you didn't need to jump down my throat for what I said. B, I wasn't being entirely serious. C, it wasn't the guy at Radio Shack, it was Circuit City when I bought the stupid thing.
Paints, I would never jump down someones throat in open channel. Well, I wouldn't really jump down anyones throat intentionally open or privately. I'm sorry if that's the way it was perceived. I myself am emotionally reactionary. I tend to feel very intensly and quite often I have to remind myself of whether or not the thing I'm angry over is worthy of the amount of emotional energy I'm giving it.
So, I understand the frustration. I recently bought a cd player that I had to return and then after getting the second one discovered it wasn't just that unit that was faulty, it's the particular line itself. That's probably why they were on clearance. Well, I couldn't keep returning them, so I'm just stuck with a crappy piece of equipment.
My intent was to hopefully bring a little but of rational thought into the situation and bring it into a little more focus. Bringing things into focus like that kind of helps a person to not waste energy on something not worth wasting the energy on.
Don't misread me and think I'm saying your feelings aren't valid. Of course they're valid and of course I care. I'm only saying don't get so caught up that you waste your own energy and sense of peace over something that really doesn't deserve that much of it.
Sometimes when we come in here we see a post and we're all like 'oh no! What happened!?' Complaining sounds like just that, complaining. Everybody has bad days, we all look back and wish we'd done things differently.
that's all I came up with! Your explaination is much better. We can't keep it all bottled up, I know I can't!

Yea, no prob with venting. We all need that from time to timeXD.
I watched K-Ville tonight. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. There were some minor issues, like ... there aren't very many street performers who have a permit. It's not required and most don't bother. It's only useful if you're squabbling over a spot and someone with a permit might have a better arguement, but as a whole, noone ever gets one. Only the artists and the facepainters.
I did, however, see a bunch of people in the scene from Jackson Square who I know personally, so that was pretty cool! The tin man they showed is a real street performer out there, so i's nice that they're including actual locals in it. And it's nice that they've got some good shots of surrounding neighborhoods too. I don't like that they're got a white guy as police cheif and his accent sounds like he's from Mississippi. A true New Orleanian sounds like he's from the Bronx.
It's the Creole and Cajun's who have the thick accent and it usually includes "cher" and "der". Like ......
" Yeah cher, dem crawfish wuz sum kinda good ... yea! "
" How's your mom an' dem? "
" Where ya at? "
" Der all out makin groceries. "
and if ever here, you must know that the "median" is The "neutral ground".
I watched it last week, but it's on the same time as Heroes. Maybe it's on line. I liked it.
I can't believe I forgot to tell you, i put your Desmond video at Fan Forum, they have a small Desmond thread there. They like it! Desmond - Penny
They don't have a free vserion online. and, kewl!!! It tells me when another site is linked to it, but when I got to any of the sites it never actually takes me to the place where it's linked:/
