Kate, what kinda stuff do you have in your greenhouse?
in my mom's greenhouse she has lots of different plants that i don't know the names/can't spell the names, i do know that she has some geranium(sp?) and a few Christmas cactuses in my greenhouse we have like 5-6 tomato plants, a few geraniums( they are easy to keep alive), and some cactuses( again, easy to keep alive) oh and we have a small banana tree
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
I had a frustrating day that worked itself out in the long run. Tonight was the first dayof sukkot. That'swhere they build this temporary thing that they call a booth or tent. You're supposed to eat in it outside. Anyway, I found this cool recipe for miniature gingerbread houses and realized I could make it into miniature sukkas.
I marched to the store which is about a half a mile away, with my creditcard, recipe and house key in hand. I put them all in the little holder in the buggy and wandered away from the buggy multiple times. I was there for maybe 20 minutes or more before realizing I'd left that stupid card there unattended the entire time I was there. By that time, the card was gone. I hadn't purchased anything, so I had a buggy full of junk and no way to pay for it. And I had no more checks.
I had he card canceled and reordered a new one. And happened apon one checkbook with some checks left. Couldn't make it back to the grocery, but found that the general dollar had confectioners sugar and graham crackers. I found everything else I needed there too. So, I was able to make the miniature sukkahs.
There's two other things you're supposed to have as well. They ordered them for the folks who needed them a couple of weeks ago and at the time I was strapped for cash. I didn't order it for myself. They surprised me and had gotten them for me anyway.
We had a great time. All of us. Had some really good boxed sangria wine. Everyone loved my little sukkah's and I had a great time in the end.
Kate, Des and Aisha, did you see that I posted the end dialogue of last night's Bones episode? I'm going to go put some more quotes in there. I thought you guys might enjoy reliving the words spoken.

Hey KIL, I'm OK. How's everything there? Getting cold yet?
things here are good, it is starting to get cold here, it froze the last two nights here, makes the weeds crunch when you step on them and it feels like fall!

It was like that when we were at the shack also, but seeing as how we were all too hungover on Sat we didn't know that until Sun morning.
I think I might skip pilates tomorrow. I don't want to have to but yesterday's class made me so sore I could hardly move today. I felt like I was 90+ years old this morning when I couldn't roll over in bed without being in absolute agony or get out of bed without it being a serious struggle and strain.
I hate it whren that happens. Personally, when I am in excercise mode I like to take things slowly in the beginning and then work my way into more activity. Doing too much too soon wears you out and you're less likely to continue doing it.
Oh. So I went back to Radio Shack tonight. (Radio Shack being the one's who were helpful, not the ones looking to make a buck by selling me something they knew wouldn't do what I told them I needed.) I went back because the unit they sold me came with a busted remote. They had sold it to me without the box because they couldn't find it and this unit was the last they had. (It was on clearance.) The manager I worked with today at RS went into the back to look for some type of remote that would work with the unit. A few minutes later he comes walking out with a box. It's the box for the unit they sold me. Guess what was in the box. The remote. They had given me the wrong remote when I bought the thing on Monday. (A simple mistake, seeing as how the remote was the same brand name and probably out there on display by the unit I bought.) I had to laugh.

Starting next week I may or may not be in on Friday and Saturday nights. If I'm in it may be kinda late. (My job starts.) I don't know what the schedule will be like so it's a wait and see kind of thing. But it's only for the month of October. And I won't be on tomorrow or Friday night because I'm going home to do some laundry. I will check in during the day though.

Paints that's great. I know when I worked for RS ages ago. It was always like that. We didn't do tons of bussiness, but it was always the nicest place to go.
