i am doing great! laughing so hard right now that i am in tears! i love the Moonlight message board! the people on there are even worse then i am when it comes to talking about the show!
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
KIL that's cool. I'm ok. Happy that it's my last shift for a few. Need a little break. The unit I'm on tonight is really warm though. Like 80 or so. it's just going to be that much harder to stay awake.

Oh Snootch ... I don't know why I thought about you, but I came up with this odd storyline today. I came up with an opener and an ender, but I dunno about the middle. It all came to me when I saw a picture of an f-22 or whatever it is fighter plane doing an airshow and they opened the bottom where the weapons would normally be. I suddenly had this thought, what if the weaopns had been in there?
So in this story, it opens with an airshow and then this plane opens its weapons thing and then everyone starts screaming. The introduction ends and you see forty-eight hours earlier and it follows these terrorists planning an attack by hiding bombs in the weaopons part of the plane and plannning on releasing them at the airshow and then other people running around trying to figure out what the plan is and how to stop them. It ends with the airshow and everyone who might be reading is thinking there's going to be bombs coming out of the plane because its left without an obvious answer. The doors flutter open and its a body and everyone screams. ITs the body of one of the terrorists. Their plot was foiled and the people who stopped them stuck the body in there as a message to the terrorists.
Lion... WOW That's really a cool story base. Having them open like that, then go throught he "lead" characters looking for the people who are going to do it, and close the story as the body slowly tubmles from the weapons bay.

don't you fall asleep!!!!!!!
I won't, but it's really hot up here right now. I have too much stuff to do right now anyways. I have to get the next interview questions started for the one I'm hoping to have done by the end of the week in time for the release of COD4 next week. That will be the 4th one, and also 2 this week.

Thanks Snootch:) I know nothing about how to write espionagestories and I know nothing of cia or fbi or of terrorists, but I guess I'd have to do some kind of research. Plus the fact that I know nothing of planes either!!! Or bombs!

LION Hwy not do the book, and thent he movie and game to release together like they did Transformers? Only this game would have to be good.
And I'm thinking the terrosists should not be Middle Eastern. Perhaps it's even manipulated to make you think it's Middle easterners but it's really like Russians or something. Like maybe they set it up like a typical attack, but it doesn't turn out to be who you'd think it would be.
Another interesting little tidbit is to but an outside character that has nothing to do with the main storyline as like a contrasting thing. Sort of like contrasting storylines or something. You see this person in the opener, and then it lfips back and forth between them in the story and then you see the person at the end. Like maybe a young boy or something...

Lion i was actually thinking (you got me started now thanks) that the group would be from somewhere like Thiland or one of the smaller asain countries. Both the middle east and Russian thing have been done to death in books, movies, and games.

Yea. I was just using it as an example. But that's the idea, yeah:) And they cleverly try to frame the Middle Easterners since they're the most likely culprits right now. and the young boy could turn out to be the son of one of the people working to stop. He like joins the kid and mom at the end or something.
So ,aybe I can look into stuff like that. Groups that have the potential to do something like that. I'd need to know a small amount of info about planes, maybe look at some stuff already written about espionage, maybe about what kind of bomb they could attempt to plant. Maybe a dirty bomb or something...
If I type bomb too much I'm gonna get like investigated or something

the boy could represent something like innocence and purity.... does it get corrupted or stay pure? making positive choices....
This would be a totally different type of dialog between characters. More technical and stuff. The material would be more complicated and it couldn't be cheezy.

Yes, that's what I was kind of toying with. I mean, why not at least put some kind of subtle statement in with it as well?
