I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
I am lucky in that LL, but againt here were even more changes when I got back after just 3 days off. The newest unit is being shut down, the youths are being put on other units, and I have no idea what is happening to the staff.?.? Scary crap I tell ya.

i am not surprised... funding has got to be drying up the longer the war goes on... most of these pnp's need some form of federal funding to survive...
Well the main reason we've been hurting here is that the main place in PA has been screwing up, and they are costing us money int he long run. Our place here was the only one of the whole group they have that made it into the black last year, and so they take from us to give to others so to speak. Oh well... I'm really sitting and keeping my ear to what's going on with the new plant that's maybe going to be coming to Keewatin soon. If things go right I might have a shot at getting in with one of the electrical places doing stuff for them for at least around a year, and if I get in on that I would be making the same money as a "Journeyman" electrician, just not having the benefits to go with it. But looking at roughky $30 an hour or so with working 6 days a week on 10-12 hour days would make me enough money to maybe look at paying off either the house or both new cars by the end of it all. It would be well worth it, and it would also be my foot in the door with that to maybe get accepted into the union, and keep doing it after that.

I really just want to find something that will allow me to make things comfortable for us at home. I hope that maybe if this deal comes through I can keep it for the rest of my days so to speak. Meh... you never know though. I could end up being some really cool writer for some magazine somewhere.. LOL

Magazine.. yeah right. I'm going to have to keep my heels where they are, and be happy that I can do this. I don't ever see myself having anything big coming out of all this. It's just for fun.
Nice pics... I love the idea that on a bet some guy would put that bridge up, and for no F"n reason. But it's sad to think of the mnoney wasted that could have been put to much better use.
