I was at my friend's house (the one who watches Moonlight) so I finally watched it! She was so happy. Anyway, a couple of my friends had a question about the food and I told them I'd ask the vampire expert I know. They are wondering why vampires can't eat regular food. Like when Coraline offered Mick some fries why couldn't he eat one. Would it make him sick?
did you really tell them that???
ummm, in most vampire stories vampires can't/won't eat food because it will make them very sick. their bodies can no long process the food like a human can so it makes them ill.
Well, that is the best scene next to the end when the general walks in and all his old soldiers are there and then when teh barn doors pull away and there's snow.

Yep! And I checked to see if you were online at that moment but you weren't so I told them I'd have to get back to them with the info.
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
Have you watched the preview for the unaired pilot of Moonlight that someone put on YouTube?
I was wondering about that unaired pilot. I saw it on the episode guide list and wondered why it hasn't been aired.
that was the first pilot that they shot, then almost all the actors were recast, only Alex wasn't recast( Thankfully!) so they had to reshoot a new pilot episode

1. Hi everyone, just a driveby because I am just completly drained and need to go to bed. Been on the phone all night.
2. Happy mommy's day LL.
3. LOVE White Christmas. It's a must see once a year at least every December and if I could have married Danny Kay and sat at the feet of Rosemary Clooney and been her understudy....
4. I was finally able to talk to someone who could giove me more info about my mother. She is stable atm in a nersing home/hospital type facility being cared for and I am still in shock over the way she was just abandoned like that. But I might be able to talk to he tomorrow depending on if she feels strong and comfortable enough to. I am hooked by the phone all day tomorrow.
God, I have cried nearly all the tears I have it feels like for the past three days.
Anyway, gonna go to bed and I will be a little better to be able to give more details tomorrow. Thanks guys. :)

Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!
glad to know that i am the vampire expert around here
you could also tell them that in Moonlight vampires might be able to eat food but not taste it. remind them of the newly turned vampire in "Dr. Feelgood" (the 3th episode) he was eating stuff but said it had no taste. and Mick and Josef drink alcohol, they might not taste it but it might give them the same buzz that is does to humans

I think that's what they were wondering... like why couldn't he just take a fry to fit in. I think mostly my guy friend was wondering because he probably doesn't understand how any guy could pass up some fries!
