Post Info TOPIC: hope vs. guilt

I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

hope vs. guilt

i re-watched par avion and christian, while talking to claire in mom's hospital room, made an interesting statement... something like, 'if you do this claire, do it out of hope not guilt. i know the difference between hope and guilt. '
jack, at this time, would have been about the age where he was entering med school... was christian guilty about how he treated jack... how he raised him? was he hopeful that claire would do better?
and how does this relate to their both being on this island?

a bit of curiosity here...

We originally made you a pineapple fruit cake, but there was a slight accident. A very yummy accident.

Also, the guilt with dealing with patients?  Decisions that are made, life or death, when to let go. And trying to pass that on to Jack.
