i re-watched par avion and christian, while talking to claire in mom's hospital room, made an interesting statement... something like, 'if you do this claire, do it out of hope not guilt. i know the difference between hope and guilt. ' jack, at this time, would have been about the age where he was entering med school... was christian guilty about how he treated jack... how he raised him? was he hopeful that claire would do better? and how does this relate to their both being on this island?
