I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

I was all set to go buy a Wii today but they were out of stock at the first two places I went and then I went to an actual gaming store and I couldn't get help there if my life depended on it so I left without buying a thing.

A gaming store that you couldn't get help? Was it really busy? Or were they just 16 yr olds that only work to be COOL?
As for buying one I'll say good luck finding one. You may not have even gotten one at the game store. They are still selling out of them within maybe 2-3 hours after they hit the shelves at pretty much any store that I know of.

They were older than 16. And since the majority of the gamer population is male I would think that a female walking into the store would garner some attention. I'm going to keep trying to find one. If all else fails I could just order one online.

And for a while there I was the only customer in the store.

Paints I would bet you'd have better luck getting one through an online source. No hunting, and then it would just be waiting for the order to process when they get one. I get what you are saying about the male gamers etc... you'd be surprised though. At the gamestop nearest me. There are 4 ladies working there, and only like 3 guys.
I went to gamestop. Two male employees and I'm the only customer. But it's like I had a wart on my nose or something. The Wii itself is only like $250 right?

Well sadly that's the state of so many people in retail. I think that's why I'm so glad being out of that line of work. I loved working with people, and I would be the 1st one in line to apply for a job if they opened a gamer store here in town, but more for the discounts etcc than to be working with those kinds of co-workers again
Which breed do you think? She named him Banner. His former owners called him Tarzan but she didn't think he looked like a Tarzan.
a paint? i think the name Banner is a good one
Yes. I like Banner too. He looks a lot like my mom's other horse, Raymond, (very similar markings) but smaller and a bit different. She thinks he'll be a good fit. (At least she's hoping so.)

Customer service is dead and it's so annoying. So many times I've sworn off stores because I clearly needed help and employees kept walking by me but not once even acknowledging that I was standing there.

oh, i need some help. i have come up with a new story and need just some basic info. i thought it would be faster asking all of you instead of surfing the net with my slow internet
1. what kind of houses were built between 150-100 years ago? and 2. where were they mostly built?
Yeah the cost of the machine is only $250, but you need to know that it's also going to require you to buy the nanchuk piece for the controller depending on the game, and the unless you like buying lots of batteries you would be wise to look at the recharge kit. Then add a game. If I was getting one I would be looking at a total of about $350 with the game, extras etc..

i hope he fits in well with your mom's other horses too
