I agree that Emilly is a strong name. Great if the character is supposed to have been alive for a long time also.
well, since both you and Lion like the name then i will stick with it i think it will fit the character well also she is very strong and capable of taking care of herself, a slight tomboy, and it takes alot to frighten her, which is must for this story
i think i might need a new name for the female character in my story. i've used it before in my "Angel from your Dreams" story so i think i might want to use a different name. the name is Emily.
what do you guys think?
You mean you want to use the name Emily?
opps, i should have made that more clear. the name i am using right now is Emily, but i think i should change it
Oh, I see. Emily is a nice name like Lion said but I think if you want to change it you should.
i was mostly thinking of changing it becuase i had used it in another story, but i think i can get away with using it again
Where is he from? if this is for a Vamp fid maybe something like Mikhal ( sounds like mick hail). I guess it can really depend on the character.
i'm not sure where he is from yet, and he's not a vamp( i know, shocking! )
i do like the name Mikhail( yes, Patchy from Lost, but also from the book i just got done with, Dark Prince) but i want somthing a little bit more normal.
Medieval feminine form of Aemilius (see EMIL). The British writer Emily Bronte, author of 'Wuthering Heights', and the American poet Emily Dickinson are two famous bearers of this name. From the Roman family name Aemilius, which was derived from Latin aemulus meaning "rival".

I'm trying to think of names that aren't Lost characters...
