i should be making plans to go to florida but i won't be there this year. i will miss seeing erik and emily and the grands. they grow too fast.... andnbeing awa f rom them is heartbreaking

LL did you get any of that snow that we were supposed to get the last couple days? We didn't get more than a light dusting.

BTW.. KIL did you get to go skiiing?

Yeah I can feel it getting colder. I was shocked how much it had dropped from this afternoon when I got Kala from school till tonight when I was coming to work.

nope, no skiing for me today, but lots of snow shoveling, like 3 hours of snow shovelinghmm i be sore tonight

Eeek I am glad I have very little shoveling to do now. My back can't take all that anymore, and so the snowblower has been a hige help. Granted we've only had 2-3 real good snowfalls all year, but you get the idea.

That's about what i'd expect up there. It's sort of sad that so many of the natives (we get lots here also) have troubles. Such strong people overall, but so many are now getting off track.

too bad more of the casino $$ can't be used for diversion programs and ways to prevent the drug/alcohol abuse that leads to so much else...

I hate being harse about it, but I honestly think that some of the issues could be stemmed before they start if the tribes, and the communities would just start moving more into the modern times. They want to keep their history, but the younger people want modern things, and it makes for massive conflict, and I agree with you that having some of that casino money going ot that would be better than letting so many of them live off the gains of the casino.
