Hypothetical situation:

If a guy asks a girl to lunch "just for kicks and giggles" because the guy thinks the girl is cool and wants to get to know her better, is it a date?

I would think so... unless they meet at the place and each pay for their own food.

I go home for spring break next Thursday and then I'll be gone until the 16th for that.  I'll be back at school for two days and then I'm in San Francisco for three and then at my mom's for Easter weekend.

Six people in my general aquaintence have gotten engaged (well, eight if you include the guy that proposed to two of that six) in the last month.

Oops.  That was supposed to say "guys".  Two of the people that got engaged are my RA and her boyfriend.  I know both of them.  The other couple are in one of my religion classes and they I think were getting engaged this weekend sometime probably.  Then there are the other four girls.  Two in one of my classes and two former roommates.
