I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

KIL you are lucky... I could also use a nice couple hours relaxing in a hot tub just to wind down, and forget about the crap going on.
i wish you could sit and relax in a hot tube too Snootch. but i bet you wouldn't have liked freezing your butt off like Joy and i did while skiing the day after that
I think everyone is still watching Lost. I'm getting
i think they are too
i have to go soon because i have to take a shower and go to bed early tonight i have to get up early to go to Santa Fe with my mom tomorrow and then on the way back she is going to drop me off at Joy's house and i am going to spend the night there. it is Zack's (Joy's little brother) birthday(he's turning 14) and he invited me and a few other people to his party to play Halo 3

ok, lets see if i can make a quick post about my day skiing, shouldn't be too hard, nothing really cool happen that day.
of course my mom, Joy, and i spend the night at our friend's house on Tuesday night so we wouldn't have to drive so far in the morning. we still had to get up early though to make it there by 9:00. my mom and her friend stayed just long enough to watch us ski backwards and then left. we had an ok lesson after that, not as good as last though. the teacher last week was awesome! and this one was ok, she taught me how to keep my uphill foot down as i turn, i've always had a problem with that, so it was nice to fix that
halfway through the lesson it started snowing and just kept getting worse and worse after the lesson was over. Joy and i were freezing so we headed to the top on the mountain and hung out in the lodge for awhile, waiting for the snow to stop, or at least the wind to quit. it didn't look like it was going to let up at all and we couldn't really ski cause the snowflakes would sting your face and eyes, making it impossible to see. i had sunglasses with me but they fogged up soon as i put them on, and i couldn't see like that either so i called my mom and asked her to come get us. she said she's be there in 1 hour. so we made our way down the hill, skiing backwards as much as we could. when we did that the snow didn't get in our eyes
we made it down with lots of time to spare and it had been kinda fun to ski, even with the snow, so we rode the lift up again and skiied down backwards again we were so frozen by the time we got down, but it was fun!
after we left the ski area we stopped by a book store and i got two new books
the storm was still bad at this time and we decided it would just be better if we spent another night at our friend's house, so that is what we did this morning it was still really snowy and we had to wait until nearly 10:00 for the roads to be plowed before we could leave. the mountains were really pretty though as we drove home
Hey Lion sorry for being MIA, but I had to drop a bit of info in my castle. The dust was getting terrible in there, and the gargoyles aren't very good at keeping things tidy.
