what a topsy turvy world!!!interesting little glances between ben and danielle... the temple is a sanctuary just for the others not for the LOSTies... danielle will tke alex and karl there. the temple should be a real revelation...

ben is a man who gets what he wants

before i go any further someone bet this epi would begin with a 'WWAAAAAAAALLLTTTTTT!!!!!!!!" and it did!!

holy moley this is an odd one!!!

was walt on the plane or not??? libby at the hospital was a nice touch! hallucination or something else? are there powers out thee that control our lives???
was walt living  with michaels mom all this time??? was michael on the island? must have been.... and then tom shows up to stop michael from killing self???
i hope this is all explained....

i knew it!!! did widmore sink the plane? dig up the bodies? stage it all? or was it ben? if widmore did then is ben giood??
did michael abandon walt? did he tell him he killed libby and analucifer? he won't make it back to the island... his assignment... kill again... is that good???

this is odd... my head is going to explode!!
with all the crew on board, lupedis talks to michael abiout 815??? fate? coincidence? planned??? widmore believes the plane is still out there... did he instigate the crash and the landing on the island? were there to be no survivors? the universe has a way of course correcting..

who are these people and what is going on???

dear lord! they can write a cliff-hanger...

dead...karl and danielle? karl or danielle???

sayid turns michael in... was that selling his soul to the devil??
ben will not kill innocent people... wants a list of the freighter people... lists of people are important...

alex alone at the end playing the duaghter card... there were rustles in the reeds...were there whispers?? who shot these people?
did locke kill again? ben? jacob? richard? that was some heavy duty gunfire....

we have 5 weeks to wait and discuss and wonder...

The Shining! Another call out to Stephen King. Also, intreresting that they're playing the same artist as from season two with Desmond's make Your Own Kinda Music, but singing this feel good everything's gonna be alright kind music as MIchael tries to kill himself in a car crash. Another interesting note is when Michael tried to shoot himself in the head he was watching The Wheel of Fortune.

I believe there are people on the boat who don't know the real mission. I also know that Ben is a weasel. MIles is no dummy, he said whatever Ben wants he gets. I mean, Ben is still the one who sent Goodwin out hoping to get him murdered and then gloated by hauling Juliet out there to see what he'd done.


Couldn't help but think about Sayid when Ben was talking to Michael on the phone. And how horrobly foreshadowy it was that  Sayid would turn Michael in
and call him a traitor because he's working for Ben.

I've been saying forever that something else other than just that thing with Desmond and the hatch brought the plane down. I think we might be finding out that's correct.

We also might have an answer as to why Jack couldn't kill himself, like maybe that car crash happened on purpose. The island isn't going to let him and neither will it let Hurley.

I believe Karl is dead, Alex and Danielle are injured. If wre go by previous spoilers that said one would be dead and two injured and it said one out of the three would die tonight meaning Claire, Miles or Karl.

So sad for Karl because we knew so little of him. hmm

I think neither Ben or Mr. Widmore are good guys. It's like between a rock and a hard place.
I can't figure out why everyone listens to Ben. Is he that captivating? Almost everything he says is a lie. They are like, 'doh, okay Ben'. He killed his own father. Michael doesn't know that Ben also shot Locke.
I wonder what happened to Ben's girlfriend from his childhood. Does Juliet replace her in some way?

When Ben was a child, the Island's mysterious force seems to have possessed him. Now I think he possesses It. He got cancer, was almost ready to die, and he managed to pull out of that one too.


I was right about the Island following them off of the Island. Creepy.

Was it Ben setting a trap? Why would he kill Danielle and Alex too? I know the shooter didn't shoot Alex - yet, but still ...

What I wann know is, where'd Lapidus go in that helicopter? And who did he take with him? We did see guys on the deck target practicing. wink

Lion I was actually going to say that it was going to be the guns for hire that were on the boat. It only makes sense seeing that they made a real effort to show how into their gund they all were. Even the chick with them seemed to be into the target practice.

I agree. nod.gif And on Dark's site, there's mention of men with guns, albeit military looking men, raiding the barracks and one of the houses on fire. I think that's gonna be Claires house.

How on earth would the boat people have snuck up on Danielle? 16 years on the Island. Ben wanted Karl out of  the way. He has ways of communicating with anyone he wants to reach. Danielle knew she was a goner before she stepped out from the tree with Alex. She said "I love you" because she knew she was trapped and would never see Alex again.

It's a bit strange that Danielle was already walking out of the house with her pack and gun as soon as Ben mentioned that they should go. She knew this was coming. Maybe an agreement was reached between them to do what was needed to ensure the safety of Alex at all cost. he knows they won't hurt her, but they will try to use her as bait, and so Danielle went along with it to keep her from whatever worse fate may have come from being with the rest of the 815ers. Carl was the mindless Red Shirt that got caught up in the crossfire of it all.

 But, if Ben wanted him dead, he had plenty of time to do it before ... and he could've made it look like an accident. And thus far, we've never seen him give direct orders to kill on of his own. He  did send Goowin out hoping that one of the flight 815 survivors would kill him ... but he didn't order anyone to go out and kill him.

What puzzles me is, they didn't even question it. I thought they cared about their new friends. Alex risked a lot to get them to help her rescue Karl last season. Did she think they (815ers) were safe?

Yay! I'm done! One thing that wasn't brought up was love. What's the point of all this if there isn't any redemption?

Ben had something happen to him when he was a boy, the Island chose him and he's doing it's bidding. It's like he's found a way to trick the Island though. Like he's in charge. Anything he wants, he gets. But I still wonder, whatever happened to his girlfriend from childhood.
