You'll get a kick out of this. My roommate and I are going to move somewhere else in the fall, somewhere that allows pets. Her dog and another of their dogs just had puppies (between the two dogs there are seven puppies, plus five full-grown dogs in the house) and she gets to keep one of the puppies because she is getting all A's this semester. The puppy she's keeping is named Brown Sugar. She was trying to come up with his registered name today in church and I think the one she liked the most is Captain Brown Sugar Rum Cake. lol

Well, it seems I've got a good preliminary start to the list of art works I want to use in my thesis. Now I just have to e-mail the professor I've been told is the ideal candidate to chair my supervisory committee and introduce myself in pn preparation of convincing him to chair my committee. I have been putting this off for a while because I hate having an ulterior motive in e-mailing the man and it's weird just randomly introducing myself to someone.

San Francisco was great in and of itself. I just wish that I could have been there just to be there rather than having to present my paper. Oh well. But the city was great and I am dying to get back. When I was standing in line at my hotel to check in, I caught sight of a storefront, or part of one at least. I saw the Bloo and immediately realized that I could see Bloomingdale's from the entrance of my hotel. That's when I knew life was good.

Are you going to hang out with James or are you still trying to plan your birthday bashes?
i'm going to hang out with James for the day we might go for a hike or just stay at his house and play some video games
That sounds like fun. Nice, relaxing birthdays are always the best. No pressure, no worries, etc. This year my classes end on the 5th of December (14 days before my birthday). Now, unless I have to stay on campus to work on my thesis for any reason, I should be able to take off for a good long break and then come back to my last semester of master's studies nice and refreshed. (And enjoy one very nice relaxing birthday.)

You do! So jealous. I wish we had one here, but it's definitely the wrong market for that store. Even if you don't buy anything, you have to go in. It's an amazing experience just to walk through the levels. (How many levels is your Bloomies?)

Is this too wordy??? I'm thinking of cutting out the second paragraph ...
There is a thin line, a fracture perhaps, between love and hate. At least thats what philosophers, poets and sages have preached.
Those who weve admired and adored, in whom the mere presence of, weve thrived and blossomed, like a tree under the summer sun, whos words were like water to our souls have become strangers to us. Now we grow dark and bitter at the mention of their name, like the cold, hard, winter freeze.
The ones we loved the most, we hate the worst and find that while we think the anger is all for them, it is in fact ourselves with whom the greatest contempt burns.
A person could speak a thousand words, but if he has no love, he is only a breath of incomprehensible words, a loud and senseless noise.
There is love and there is hate. Hate will never lead to love, and love will never lead to hate, but love is the only way out of the chaos the only deliverance from hate.

I like this longer version actually. The wording is really great I think.
