Hi LL and Aisha:)

Hey, I'm having a little brain fart with something maybe you guys can help me out. It has to do with when they find Naomi. Remember when she says  just before the helicopter crashes the clouds clear and she spots land? So they head for it and then the instruments went crazy and she bailed? The helicopter supposedly crashed in the water at night - right?

If you're in the middle of the ocean, flying a helicopter over the water and it's nighttime and there's no light ... not even on the land itself ... can you determin the water from the land?

I mean, I know you can tell with populated areas because there's street lights and other lights you can see from the air.

Doing better than Saturday. Saturday I just really hit the dumps pretty fast. Work was a mess. I was working with the pharmacist who just hates me and the other tech on duty was trying to push me into the fill station because she knows the woman treats me unfairly, but she ended up stressing her own self out while trying to help me and that just really upset me because I never wanted her to do that.  And then we got so backed up. I bought both of them a rose for mothers day, but Gina just left hers. I would've still given it to her anyway.

And then people were being nice and wishing me happy mothers day and I kept wishing mothers day would just be over and done with. I ran to the bathroom at one point in tears and the store manager wound up running into me on the way. He didn't say anything, but he was coming out of the pharmacy when I got back, so he must have thought I'd had a confrontation.

It was just an aweful day. Today was better.

I dunno. I know that a helicopter can maneuvor in ways planes can't and they can get lower ... I'm not sure. hmm

Glad you're doing better today Lion.

As far as how she found land. Easy beasy... The locator/sat phone that she had. We know that it can home in on things. If I remember corect it also should have a navigational set-up on it like a compass. She'd only have to follow that heading. She knew the heading while in the chopper anyhow.

Well, I was rewatching because I'm at that point of the show in my story. And what she says is the clouds cleared and she spotted land. So, she didn't know the land was there before she spotted it. *shrug*

Well we also know that at that point they wanted the losties to believe they were there to rescue them, and not to get Ben. So she would have told them something like that to concele her true motives, and how she found the island. making it look like they were just doing a seep of the area.

Right. Yea, that was pretty much the thoguht. I was going to use Sarah to point out another flaw in the story, but I guess it isn't so much a flaw. Not as much as why she would have chuted from the heli in the first place. But Sarah wouldn't have known any difference in that.
