I was so glad for a movie like August Rush. That movie says things I've felt in my heart, but couldn't figure out how to say outloud. It's like someone read my diary.
It was a little bit Oliver Twist, and a fairy tale. The music was stupendous.
I've been meaning to see it for a while! Well now that all my shows are almost over, it's movie time!
That's the way we feel. No more shows for awhile, we can read and do whatever we want.
I wonder what Jorge and Bethany's story is. I mean how they met. I was just reading her blog and how she moved out here when she was 17 and got married and divorced and has lived in 11 cities in the past 10 years.

Is that new? I couldn't ever find anything about her because she's so vague. She seems bitter and sarcastic. Maybe that's her humor. I dont like how critical she is of Jorge though.
Thanks ladies! Yesterday was good, today was a little overwhelming!
How'd it go?
I'm working concerts at Spirit West Coast. Yesterday I had a nice roving position where I just was walking around the upper floors of the grandstand and was working with a cute guy, that's always a plus! Today/tonight I had to be right in front of center stage behind the barricade facing the crowd. Eek! I was there for about 6 hours. The concerts tonight were Jars of Clay and Toby Mac/ Diverse City Band. They were both really good.

Yeah that's one thing I was curious about. They seem pretty different so I was wondering how they ended up together.

I found it. It's so funny to me when people feel old in their twenties.

I know what you mean. I definitely didn't feel old when I went to my 10-year reunion.

She takes a little advantage of his good nature. I hope she really is in love with him. Doesn't cling, but doesn't break his heart either.

I still don't feel old. My bones do, but not my spirit.

Yeah that's a cool thing about this job, I get paid to go to events when other people are paying to go.

thanks
You're welcome. I was just glad I'd read Twilight, the first book, not the entire series, before I saw Indiana Jones yesterday. The preview for Twilight was attached and there'd no avoiding that when it's on such a huge screen and so loud.
Thanks for the warning! I want to see that movie, but I'll finish Twilight first.

That's cool! I sometimes feel old... I know I shouldn't, but I do.

Au contraire, m'dear. All one need do is stay away during the previews.
But I pay to see the previews and hate it when I miss them! And get a good seat. Row 5 so I can see the screen
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
