Oh and I'm getting ready to cause a bigger brain ache.. just about to open Yr 5 of Harry potter
Have fun with that! That one isn't my favorite of the books, but it's also not my least favorite. Rowling herself said of book 5 that if she'd had more time she could have edited it better and made it a bit shorter than it is.

Paints the thing is that until I got that bad sinus infection a while back I was fine. it's been hitting me everyday like 2 times a day now since then. I'm going to try some allergy med first, but if it doesn't work I'll have to go back in and get looked at. I can't handle having these every single day.
That really sucks.

I have the first one... keep forgetting to crack it open!
Sometimes there are just so many books out there to read it's hard to know where to begin.
What are you reading now?
Well, I have a lot of books to choose from. I probably won't end up working this summer so I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands. (Depending on how much I'm needed over at my brother and sister-in-law's house after her surgery and during her chemo.) I want to re-read LOTR and the first two of the Inheritance series. I still have a book by Jasper Fforde that I haven't read. (It's fifth in the series so I'll re-read the first four before getting to it.) Then there's this series of four books by Tamora Pierce that I want to re-read. And I also have Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma that I want to re-read/read. Can't decide where to start.

Wow, that is a lot to choose from! That's great that you'll be available to help your sister-in-law out. I'm sure she'll really appreciate your being there.
At first i thought the headaches could be from me trying to cut out caffine, and drinking less soda. But it's still been as bad the last week or so where i've fallen off the wagon on the whole Mt. Dew thing. I'm back drinking a couple a day again, and they hit at random times. Even if I've had caffine.
Snootch, did you and Angie end up seeing a movie on Saturday?
Yeah. She didn't want to see INDY so we went to Narnia, and I have to say I thought it was really good. As good as the 1st one IMO, but just in different ways.
Spoiler
I hate that they pretty much told you thatthat there will be a 3rd movie, but the 2 eldest kids won't be in it.

She doesn't know yet how much she'll be able to do. She knows for sure she's not going to be able to pick my nephew up for a good while. My brother is going to be working 4 10-hour shifts a week and so she'll need help around the house and such. She has a lot of family around here so I'm sure there'll be a lot of help. She's staying at my mom's house (along with my nephew) for about 10 days when she has her surgery and I'll be there the whole time. She is having a hard time with everything right now and on top of it all if she ends up with a certain kind of chemo/radiation she can't even think about getting pregnant again for 5 years. That's really hard on her, and my brother, because they really want more children and they were hoping their kids would be close together.

C.S. Lewis tells you that in the book though and so it's pretty much taking dialogue straight out of the book and putting it in the film. And did you ever doubt they'd make another Narnia film? I am glad you liked it, though. Do you have anyone you could go see Indy with? I think it's the best movie I've seen so far this summer. (Out of the 3 I've seen.)

Hmmm. I'm sure you're right then about it being allergy related. The weather seems to be weird everywhere lately so maybe there is something in the air that you're not used to that's causing allergies.
I don't think I'll get to see Indy in the theatres. With family in town from Oklahoma all weekend, and then back to work next week. I didn't think that they wouldn't, but for those people like me that haven't read the books I thought that was a bit cheap to let it out like that.
I know that Angie's allergies have been way worse this year also, and I'm hoping it's that. I just hate this thought. Until I moved up here to be with her i never had allergies, and now mine have been worse every year since then.

Yeah I can't imagine what she must be going through. I'm glad there is a lot of family around to help and be supportive.

But then when the next film came out you'd be wondering where the two eldest children were. (Since I guarantee they won't explain where Peter and Susan actually are during the next book's film version.) Sorry you don't get to see Indy in theaters. That's cool that you'll have family in town though. Sorry about your allergies.

It's hard on all of us, but it's especially hard on her and my brother. My nephew's too young to really grasp what's going on. He might not even remember any of this when he's older.

I hope Indy will be out for a while so I can see it too. There are a bunch of big movies coming out though so theaters might have to make room for them.

I'm sure that Indy will be around for a while. It was, imo, the biggest movie of the summer in terms of anticipation and hype. And it's got such a huge built-in fanbase.

A couple of my friends and my mom have all been having worse allergies this year as well. I hope the allergy meds will work for you and you don't have to put up with the headaches much longer!
