that sucks about the mattresshmm.gif isn't there anything you can do about it? could you take the neoprene wrapper off maybe? or add a few mattress covers? that might help

I've got a foam pad on it already and the neoprene thing is the only thing keeping the mattress' stuffings inside.  I'll just have to deal with it, but I know I haven't been sleeping very well these last two nights since I got the mattress.  I can't wait to go home and sleep on a real mattress for a few days.  Thanks for your concern about the mattress.

I know how awful it is to sleep on a bed that's uncomfortablehmm.gif when do you get to go home?

I'm going down next Thursday.  My brother, sister-in-law, and nephew will come that day as well.  Her surgery is next Friday and she'll probably be in the hospital until Sunday morning.  She's going to stay at my mom's until the following Sunday.  I'll be there the whole time because we'll have her and my nephew and that's asking a lot for my mom to take care of both of them on her own.  Not that it's a hassle, it's just that my nephew is a handful.

I hope your sister-in-law's surgery goes well.

I did.  I haven't read it yet.  I'm going to wait a while.  There are other books that I want to read more at the moment.  This is going to turn out to be a good year for reading.  Several authors whose work I read came out/are coming out with new books this year.

When I finished Eclipse I decided that the next book I would read had to be something not in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. (Very difficult to do since that's about the only genre I ever read.) The first book I laid my fingers on that was actually a novel and not some random reference-type book was Dracula. Oh the irony. I laughed and quickly moved on. I didn't escape the genre, but the books I read are some of my favorites ever to read and so I enjoyed it.

You know, the tip of my finger that I sliced off with the potato peeler is pretty much all healed except that it's still tender if I knock it into something at just the right angle. But my fingertip is round again instead of flat-topped.

I'm looking forward to it.  I'll get there eventually.  It doesn't help that I left it at my mom's when I came back from my weekend stay.  Oh well.

Good night Aisha!

What does it say about me if I were to say that I miss fictional people more than some real people that I've known in my life?

Cutting finger bits off is no fun.  I've never read Dracula either.  Don't ask me what possessed me to buy it, but I did.  (Curse that employee discount and the sale at Barnes and Noble!)

BTW, who died on Lost last night?  I mean, I know that what's his face died, Michael.  But I'd read a spoiler that said 3 original cast members were killed off in the finale.  Just curious to know who's no longer on.

Welcome to my world.  I saved no money from either summer I spent working there.  Oh well.  I prefer Barnes and Noble to Borders.  I wish we'd get a B&N where I live.  Until that wish comes true I'll have to make do with Borders.

Michael and Jin died when the ship blew up and Locke was in the coffin in the future.

They killed Jin?!  Why can they never leave a somewhat happy marriage alone?  And thanks for telling me.

Of all the special abilities that the vampires in the Twilight series have, I want the "built-in radar" so I can drive as fast as I want and never get a ticket.

Original crash survivors are down to a minimum, now, huh?  I mean, they killed 3 last night, Charlie's gone, Shannon and Boone, and who knows who else.  Is Bernard still around?  That would be really sad if they killed him.

most of the original 48 survivors were killed when the ship blew up. i am not sure if Bernard and Rose were on it or still on the island. I do know that Sawyer and Juliet are on the island, and Locke used to be

They're really cutting down their cast number, eh?  Oh well.  If they killed Rose and Bernard together it wouldn't be so bad.  It would be if they took Bernard since Rose was convinced at the beginning that he was still alive and everyone tried to discourage that view and then they were all proved wrong.  How many days have passed since the crash?  Just out of curiosity.
