I think it's because I registered to vote in this parish during the last gov. race. I really wanted to vote for Jindal. They're still rumoring him to be in the short list of candidates to be Mccain's running mate. He joined Mccain and someone else - I can't remember, at a barbecue at Mccains house recently, and they've been working together as far as the Katrina stuff.

Honestly though, I think if he were to accept the  running mate position he'd have a ton of people mad at him. He  has managed to form some nice connections in washington though. Made a good reputation for himself.

I usually like Adam Sandler... I have heard mixed reviews about this movie. But I've got some gift certificates so if I don't like it, I didn't pay for it. I'm so happy I get to see a few movies for free. My cousin passed along some gift certificates/card to my mom who passed them along to me. biggrin

Isn't that weird? We used to stick tea bags in cold water and just pop it in the fridge. You would think the water would have to be boiling.

I know! But I never knew till now! I've gotten hot watrer from the sink before and brewed it that way, but never thought to use cold till now.

When I first got Israel he was so small that his littler box was one of those small foil cooking pans. I set it in the bathroom so that whenever I went, he went ... because you know he followed me wherever I went.

I tried taking him to the launrymat with me, but he flipped out over the sound of the washer and dryers and nearly clawed my neck out.  That was that!
