I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

Ok, see, this is where it gets absurd. I was due for work Thursday I think it was, for 2:30 in the afternoon. I get dressed, walkacross the street blah blah. It was a torrential down pour the previous night and so the road was still kinda wet when I walked across the work - wet, okay?
I'd watched the weather for all of about ten to fifteen seconds the night bfore as well and they said Thursdays low would be 34. So, my mind never even went anywhere near thinking about anything other than rain.
Well, I'm at work for about a half an hour or more when these customers came in talking about snow. I looked at them blankly. They said, snow ..."Didn't you see the snow?"
I was like, um snow? I'm thinking are you people nuts? Do I need to be filling some haloperidol for ya?
Then, everyone in the pharmacy behind the counter- my coworkers all turned and looked at me - even the two pharmacists at their computers backed away from the computers and stared at me. "You didn't know it snowed?"
This whole conversation went on for three or four minutes with me stanidng there lookig at everyone blankly and everyone laughing at me! There were about three or four customers in line and everyone was laughing. Apparently it had snowed all morning and I was completely oblivious. :oymygod:Some people were even able to make small snowmen!
I told them don't you dare by me snowglobe for Christmas!
BTW, as of today I have four Mentalist vids and one entire fanfiction story completed - it has nine chapters which is really cute since there's been nine episodes so far and I'm working on a Christmas one that also ties into the first fic. And, Gawd, I just watched the danged kiss scene from The Devil Wears Prada like three or four times over ....I'm in love with Simon Baker now. Oy!
