Aisha is using her computer, I had to get mine to go faster, (three of us use our computers at the same time). I put Vincent to bed, Connor's been sleeping. I'm starting the New Year off busy!

I wish lots of things stayed open at night! We used to got o the Mall til 9pm, Target til 10, and then Barnes and Noble until 11pm. Walmart's open all night!  
But 9pm's kind of early. They could've had fireworks, but I suppose it would scare the animals.

Yeah! There are some places that stay open really late but mostly Downtown or beach areas.

The first year in my aopartment I discovered that on New Years eve all I have to do is walk right on the corner at the intersection just a block from here and I will be surrounded by fireworks. They are exploding in every direction - one year I will record it. I'm the only one out there, it's quiet except for the fireworks so it's really just a nice experience.

The fireworks are not necessarily from a public display, but from individuals who are firing their own off. But I can see the ones from the baseball staduim - Zepher Feild and there's another one _ I think it's from a local park. But the rest are from regular people - it's amazing the type of fireworks they'll let be sold to the general public.
