Talk about anything Music related here. Don't agree with someone elses top 10...Or if you want to say that an artist has a new song or album out. Drop it like it's hot, and say it loud here.
WOW..Someone posted Hoobastank on their list...I love their first album...haven't heard but 1 song off the new one though,
i dont know if ive ever heard any of their whole albums...I might have em...dont know. I really liked that big song till it got way overplayed.
I saw someone (lady?) posted REM as a fave...i used to really dig em but I sorta stopped listening to them. I have almost all of their old stuff. Some on record...I think I would enjoy them much more now then I used to. I need to dig it out and listen to it. Green is still one of my all time fave albums though.

Molly that Willie song is great. He's one of the very very few country singers I can tolerate. I think it's because he's got such history, and really tells a story in every song he does.
Well now Volts has made me have to retract my previous statement. I noticed he mentioned "Blue" by Lean Rhymes. Fantastic song, and her voice is amazing. So add her to the slim list of country I'll listen to.
Stick it in your ear, smootchers, for anyone who does like video's of music performances try this site, it is set up for country but if you look around the site you will find other genres. yahoo music dvds

This is not radio, this is video, both picture and music. ://ca.music.yahoo.com/musicvideos/genrehub.asp?genreID=7318640&p=1 try this one. It works for me. I just tried it, it works.
It has problems loading here at home for some reason. I've used those them moving pictures with purdy sounds at work before. Just something about it here at home. It's all good though. I mainly stick with my tunes while on the net anywho. Use limewire to get the tunes, and then put them into I-tunes player.
I like most of my music to be bouncy and lively, sometimes I like the slower paced stuff, like BLUE by Leann Rhimes but mostly I like it to MOVE, not lay there like a dead horse. There is a trio called Trick Pony that has had several hot sellers, my favorite is called "pour me", I like anything more or less by Brooks & Dunn, their "boot scootin' boogie" is hot stuff. I don't like the Dixie Chicks leader as a person but some of their music is very good. She has a big mouth and shoots it off about political stuff. She got into a verbal war with Alan Jackson about a patrotic song he wrote and sang. Shania Twain has some good stuff too. I don't much care for what is called traditional country, the nasal, whiney, stuff.
Keepin you forever and for always, we will be together all of our days. I wanna wake up every mornin to your sweet face ... alwaysss:sing
I LOVE that song!
Mostly everyone here has seen it, but this is my music profile on MySpace, Volts, I have three song files of me singing accapella there. One of them is me singing in Hebrew. The other two are songs I've been working on but aren't finished. They are not chipper happy songs tho. But I thought you;d be interested in giving a listen anyway. :)
I ran accross a sparkling video by a duet named Brooks and Dunn called "honky tonk truth". Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn have sold about a jillion records, they have had hit after hit. Kix Brooks and Dale Earnhardt look like brothers, and on this video poor Ronnie is singing and whenever the camera shows both of them he looks at his partner and now it's Kix and five seconds it"s dale, and five seconds later it's Kix again. Dale actually plays a guitar quite well and they both are dressed in the same clothing and Dale is playing one of Kix's spare guitars. Towards the end of the video the camera backs off enough that you can see all three of them at once. So poor Ronnie throws up his hands and leaves. Interesting concept and very good lively music too.
Well volts since you are talking about it. B&D is one of my wifes top bands that she likes. Her top right now is Kenny Chesney. She got to see him in concert this past april with my daughter. They came back just raving about his show.
As for Kix looking like Dale....He does...er...did...I'm guessing that Dale looks a bit down from the time that video was shot. JK...They were very close in the looks though.
Your wife has exquisite taste, now you on the other hand, ****************.
I know...I should be calming down as i get older, or so I'm told. but there's always just been something in me that has loved the heavy drumming music of a group like Mettalica or Disturbed. I still have my Van Morrison, The Doors, and others that are much tamer.
The only rock music I really like was a cut by "ten years after" called "I'm goin' home" , the extended version, there is a short version and a longer version. The short version was made for radio play. Alvin Lee did a fine job of guitar pickin' and his singing was fair to middlein'.
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

I like the Wedding Singer Volume 2. My sister and I kind of share both volumes but I'll usually just listen to the second one because it has some of my favorite songs. Especially Space Age Love Song... love it!

Another younger person from that digs the 80'S tunes....to bad I could do without alot of it for the most part.....
i love the 80's music too snootch, although i'm not much younger than you LOL but yeah the Wedding Singer had some good ones on it. I have a collection, like 3 disc set that has a great collecion of 80's hits, some are not the usual songs that you here on the 80's flashback shows.
And i have that XM radio and let me tell i hear songs on that that i havent' heard in YEARS
Art of Noise? what songs to they do? cause i think i've heard them.
