I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
POTC 2 was the number 1 movie for the weekend again! It made $35 million on it's third weekend, bringing the total up to $322 million and making it #16 on the all time box office list!
and it finally makes it to moose lake on friday!!!

I was really surprised that The Night Listener did so badly. But not surprised that POTC 2 is already the #8 all time USA box office! And #19 Worldwide!
I haven't seen it either although I've heard it got bad reviews. But The Village wasn't popular either and *I* thought it was brilliant. I think he is just a creator who is beyond this generation of movie goers....

I was just reading through some of the posts on imdb and it does have mixed reviews. Some people say it was brilliant though and these were people who liked The Village too.
I still haven't even seen the second one yet, i think i may have finished now... I really cant be bothered going to the pictures anymore, Dvd is by far the better and cheaper way to go.... just means i have to wait 3 months!
Dan I agree that DVD is much cheaper and alot easier, but like POTC and other big shows...I'll continue to see a few in the theatres. Plus it's one of the things we do as a family so it's worth it to me.

I'd have to say that while there are many movies that are justa s good renting the DVD/vhs .. I'd have to say that there are others that just are way beter seeing them on the big screen first. The Star Was movies wouldn't have been as nice, or LOTR, Pirates was awesome, X-men ... etc....

Exactly my thoughts Lion.. Now I've seen all of the LOTR flicks at least 3 times between the theatre, and the DVDs, but it was so much better in the theatre.
August 17, 2006 - 20th Century Fox has confirmed that the sequel to last summer's hit movie Fantastic Four will be titled Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
The Tim Story-directed project has previously been referred to as both Fantastic Four 2 and Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer.
The sequel reunites cast members Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis and Chris Evans. Julian McMahon, who played Dr. Doom in the first movie, may or may not reprise the role for the sequel depending on his Nip/Tuck schedule. If he's unable to make the shoot, McMahnon could voice the role with another actor filling the suit on-set.
Doug Jones still has not been confirmed for the role of Silver Surfer but the Hellboy actor has coyly acknowledged that he's in the running.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is slated to begin filming Aug. 28 in Vancouver for a July 4, 2007 release.

I agree to a degree... i'm just so sick of going to the films and sitting behind or infront of somewho who talks.. or is making noise, or has their phone out or something! Being kicked the back of the seat... stuff like that! I'd much rather just sit down and what when i want, with who i want these days!
Well it seems that ou ladies will have more Hugh to swoon and drool over
Jackman: Singer In Wolverine Loop
Hugh Jackman, who is on tap to reprise the mutant Wolverine in a spinoff film centered on the character, confirmed for SCI FI Wire that his X-Men director, Bryan Singer, is on the list of helmers he'd like to see do the movie. " It's all in negotiations," Jackman said in an interview in Beverly Hills, Calif, on Nov. 11 while promoting his upcoming SF epic The Fountain. "There is a list [of directors,] and, you know, Bryan is sort of at the beginning of all this, so, of course he's in the loop. But it's too ... early for me to say."
Singer, who helmed X-Men and X2, left the third installment to direct Superman Returns; Brett Ratner took over on X-Men: The Last Stand. But ComingSoon.net reported a rumor last week that Singer has been offered the fourth X-Men movie, though he likely wouldn't be able to do it as his schedule calls for doing the next Superman movie as his next project. But Singer said that he's also interested in seeing the script for Wolverine.
As for Singer's interest in Wolverine, Jackman said: "I think it's great. ... We'll see the way we go. I mean, now we have the script, and now we really need to work out who's the best person for it. But, you know, Bryan's always been in the loop for us."
Jackman won't put on his claws again in the near future: Starting in March, he will shoot an as-yet-untitled Australian epic film under Aussie helmer Baz Luhrmann. "I'm meant to finish Baz's movie [at the] end of August," he said, adding: "But who knows? I think we'll go forward [with Wolverine at the] beginning of '08. ... My idea for Wolverine, I need to have four months clear before I start shooting. Because I want to be in a shape, physical shape, that I've never been before for that movie." The Fountain, also starring Rachel Weisz, opens Nov. 22.—Patrick Lee, News Editor
