OMG .... something just occurred to me ... if we're talking about time here. Meaning, suppose they are behind or ahead of the rest of the world, then, when Walt was gone, wherever he was made his timeline and the Losties out of sync. That would mean that Walt actually aged possibly a few years even from the time he left the group till he came back!  At any rate ... they've hinted about if the Losties have been gone as long as they think they have or if it's actually the time they think it is. They have to explain how Walt would get older in such a short period of time ... creating some sort of time difference would do that for them!

NOW, here's what crossed my mind last night. I watched Star Wars ... Revenge of the Sith last night.  The very FIRST thing I noticed was that Ani had a scar that went from above his forehead and then under his eye. It looked almost identical to Lockes scar.  It got me to thinking.  Could Locke be the "chosen" one? So to speak? And if so, could Lock turn to the dark side?

In part of the running commentary on the DVD they also pointed ou that the villans always think they're the "good" guys. They always think they are making the world better ! I have a friend who thinks that the Others are not bad people and that they are actually good.  Sorry, but, good people don't kill other people in order that noone would figure out who they were. Good people don't kidnap others against their will and try to take their babies. Good people don't hang people from trees.

That's an interesting way to look at the whole Good/Evil thing. I've seen the extras footage in the epi 3 disk you are talking about. I always thought it was a cool way to look at it. becoming evil was due to them wanting to be part of a greateer good. I could see Locke being like that, but if anyone is heading that dirrection right now it's Charlie. I don't however think that Charlie is a part of the "Big" plan for the show so I don't think it's going to be like that.

I kind of think Charlie was already kind of like that. Struggling between right and wrong ... much like Kate.  But, if Locke was the one supposed to be in charge ... as planned by the "others" and Henry was there to put him on track ...he could "turn to the dark side " and join the "others" possibly. Especially if his father turns out to be involved...

If Locke's "father" is involved, and he finds out I'd almost think he would join up with them then....Or would it put him into a frenzy of emotions that drive him to revenge for messing his life up so badly?

I think Locke would have to be seduced by getting the idea that he was doing something good and then slowly he turns into Mr Dark.
