For both of those reasons I'm starting to think that since Sayid and Jack both suspected that Michael was leading them into a trap that they might have made some sort of secondary plan in case something happened. Who knows...I wonder if they might have geussed more about the others and what they would do fromthe get go. I'm thinking not that much to know they'd come after the sailboat but who knows.

I've also been thinking....if the button controlled the EM thing and now the button is boom boom gone bye bye. Wouldn't that mean that it would be doing something at all times now?

OK, so it is obvious that The Others have their act together and are getting along quite nicely even though the Dharma Initiative long ago failed. They know where the various bunkers are and there is evidence that communications are still maintained with all of them as shown by the one bunker with all the surveillance equipment.

So why leave poor Zelinsky and then Kelvin to sit there going mad pushing the stupid button? Why not relieve them using their own people? But then they might not have known they were even there since they were not aware of the sailboat. On one hand they seem to know everything and on the other there are big gaps in what they are aware of.

And why parade around in rags? Perhaps there is a tougher group of Others who are wearing rags and saying to these Others, "This is OUR island!"

Gray this is the part I thought was the most interesting. I wouldn't be surprised to find that there are 2 groups. This could revolve right into the thoughts that Dannielle is part of the others. In fact could she be the leader of the group that has the whispers and all the stealth? She knows so very much about the island, and the ways of the place. Could we find that some of the other bunkers/hatchs are being used, but by another group?

If there are other Others than maybe they are those who were being experimented on while the Others we know were the ones running the experiments. For all we know both Zelinsky and Kelvin came on board the same way as Desmond and never got the memo saying it was all phony and, so, never abandoned their post.

Sort of getting into a kind of "Time Machine" Eloi and Morlock arrangement.

And if Danielle knows so much about the island then why does she not know about HappyLand Village and LongAgo Zoo? Same answer as for why Ben doesn't know about the sailboat; big island. I suspect if I were on the island I would do a cursory once around and then stay put where I know that I can find water and other necessities.

In regards to the Dannielle knowing about the other places. I'm sure she does, but they never have done anything because my thoughts on it (if it's like that) are that her group is much smaller, and maybe afraid of what has been done to them in the past. Would you go running off to fight the people you more than likely had to escape from? I wouldn't be going anywhere near them, but I would find a way to make things tough on them. They could have been part of the group stealing people one night, and then the others we know did it again. Making it look all like the same group.

As foe Kelvin. He mentioned that he knew what he was getting into as far as the job. I just don't think he thought there really wasn't a replacement coming.

So it would be a case of not communicating again. Seems to be a lot of that going around. If this weren't scripted and Danielle knew about HappyLand Village then it would be normal to mention it rather than just ranting about baby snatching Others.

And speaking of Danielle, it's too bad we don't get to see more of her. I like the actress (Mila Furlan) and the character and would like to see her interact with everyone more. They brought Desmond on board, bring the crazy lady on!

I've heard talk that she will be getting involved in the second section of the season (after the big break) so that could be possible. I think her talking about the baby snatching others is part of her mental instability that is reariong it's head. She has focused so hard on Alex, like Michael did with Walt that she doesn't care about anything else around her. If you loook at how Michael was acting when he got back to the group, and was being decietfull and doing what he needed to to get Walt back. That was very much like what she did when she deceived the losties, and tries stealing Aaron.
