I posted somewhere that I think it might be like movie The Game; a family member paying to have one of their family members (the losties) reprogrammed- get rid of their 'bad' traits. Jack's Dad, (who I don't think is dead). Sun's father, Hurley's mom. I don't know about Sawyer... hmmm...
Very interesting DES....Lion has been defending the "Game" aspect forever, and I'm thinking that something like this thought along with hers could be very possible.

Hi Snootch. How are you? There was some discussion about Ben on the other board about his having been on the island all his life. I sort of jumped on that and probably went off the deep end, but Jack said why would he stay there if he could get off. I sort of like the idea of Adam and Eve being his parents, the age is about right, and they could have been Dharma. Ben seems to be intelligent, but if he was raised on the island, he may think that he is really doing good work and everyone else is not. Do you see where I am going with this?
you know I had forgotten about Adam and Eve fromt he caves. You have a great train of thought there. I'm going to have to ponder the options with this, and see how this may work into some things I've been thinking.
My one question is that if they were the parents, and they weree Dharma. Why did they end up in the cave?
Do we really think that Dharma keeps tabs on all their people? And maybe Adam and Eve were not supposed to have a child or the ran off and died in another incident. I am really clutching at straws, but I think Ben has been led up the path with what is supposed to happen. And if my theories aren't correct, I'll just say that my story was too good and the writers changed theirs. LOL. Time for me to go. See you soon. Share your ponderings with me some more.

With regards to Sawyer I'm not sure on that either, but with Locke we don't know that "His father" was really that at all. He very well could have been a part of soemthing bigger that was used to set things in motion to get Locke to the island.

Anyone thinking or wondering what the reaction from Ben is going to be when he sees/hears that Colleen has been shot? I think this will be the first "test" of how much he cares about the group as a whole. he can either be concerned and want to do everything possible for her. Or he could be the heartless monster that has been shown of him so far, and he'll want her to be well, but he'll go about his daily business woithout much moe than a nod and command that she need to be taken care of.

Well, if him leaving Juliette behind and slamming the door in her face when jack was opening that hatch door is any indication.

I'm liking that. I hope that it is maybe even a bit meaner with some real determination behind it.
From what I hear, one of the Losties is going to come back from that blast with some new something special. Like possibly a new " Walt " kind of special quality.

imagine desmond being able to project himself or have some kind of mind control powers... eko too... would he use it to express his religious views??? locke with the mind powers... watch out jack!!! and evilcharlie!!!
I just watched another version (like the 3rd I've seen) of the Promo for tomorrow, and this one had Locke all comando, but it also showed him walking into a cave from the looks of it. BUT....it had piles of bones. Most looking like they could be human??
