i like the invisible guy!!
In the preview for next week Sylar and Mohinder are talking, not Sylar and Isaac. I so want to know what was on that middle painting that Isaac did and looked at in between the taxi cab and the one of Simone on the roof with a guy. (I'm not convinced it was Isaac in that painting.) It's got to be important because they are holding off showing it to us.
And Nathan being Claire's father makes total sense. "Save the cheerleader, save the world" has new meaning. Peter it would seem must get to know on a personal level or have some thick connection (blood is thicker than water) to the one that he borrows from when he absorbs powers in order that he can recall and control those abilities and his own.
Now the question remains--- does HRG know that Nathan is Claire's real father, does he know that her real mother is alive? I think the Haitian said something to Claire to the effect that her father (HRG) had told him that Claire's birth mother died. He could be lying through his teeth (highly likely) or he could genuinely be out of the loop (highly unlikely).
I've also seen questions of whether Peter knew about his own abilities when Claire was born and if he did why didn't he use them to save his wife in the car accident. This is based very loosely (and by loosely I mean it hasn't got a whole lot of ground to sit on) on the statement "Some family" which Claire's birth mother makes. Personally I think the mother was only referring to herself and Claire in that statement, not including the birth father.

Two stones, one black and one white (Lost) . . . .
Develop & refine your powers as a hermit (Invisible Guy, Heroes) When about to die from the fall off the building, he thought about "that cheerleader" (Peter, Heroes)
So, in Real Life, do we refine our powers in solitude . . . . but the reason we "do it all" is because of the people we love?
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
Nikki/Jessica...now this is one I've been back and forth on. My BIG MAYBE thought on this is that She is and has been Jessica all along, and that Nikki is the extra part of her. And so that would explain the strength of Jessica, and how hard it is for Nikki to control. Seeing as how Jessica would actually be the first/main identity in the body/mind.
This is what I have thought as well. And the super power is super human strength - if you didn't catch that by the way she snapped the iron nightstick like a twig ?
BTW - seeig that the cop had his first black out when he was in the bar and saw the haitian there, and that he can't read minds when the haitian is around I'd have to say that the power belongs to the haitian - I think the group that Claires father belongs to is a more sinister version of the watchers from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. If you remember, the watchers observed and also tried to help coach the new slayer each generation. But I think this group interferes and maybe even has a hand in creating the mutants.

i just thought that the cop couldn't read the minds of others with powers... not cuz the haitian was there...
here's a thought... what if jessica is there to form an alliance with sylar? imagine what the spawn of sylar would be like....

He read the mind of all the others except for Peter who absorbed his gift temprarily so it was like putting two microphones together and getting feedback. And he did read Peters mind at some piont because he heard him thinking about Claire. He can't read Claires fathers mind when the Haitian is around now Claires. I doubt he can read anyones mind when the Haitian is around, but he was able to overcome whatever power he has because he picked up the name Sylar from him and Claires dad comeing out of the warehous.e

Another thing. Nathan has a rather prominent scar on his left jowl line. Where did the painting of Peter show the scar?
when hiro comes from the future and meets peter, he says something along the lines of...i almost didnt recognise you without your scar. ive been waiting for his scar since. scars are sexy.

A long time ago there was a show on TNT or Sci-fi. I dont remember which and it may still be on but as I no longer have either channel, I really have no idea. Ok so it wasnt so long ago. Anyway the show in which I speak of is The Deadzone. Anthony Michael Hall was the main character which, given that fact alone, it suprised me that I liked the show. Ever since Johnny Be Good (or whatever that movie was), I couldnt stand him. Yes I still enjoy his 80's work, I mean lets face it....thats quality stuff. I never read the book or watched the movie...I assume there was a movie at least, so I dont know if the T.V. followed the same lines or not.
Anyway, assuming youve never seen the show, Ill give a brief overview of it so you can see lines I am thinking along. So this dude can touch someone and can see things...like he knows stuff about them. Or he can touch objects that someone has touched and know things about them. Pretty cool as it is but there is the politician he keeps having encounters with. Thats where my whole Heroes and Deadzone connection comes in. First of all the politician is shady enough...but everytime he encounters him he sees an explosion. Much like the one we see in Heroes. An all encompassing explosion... Unfortunantly I lost my cable about then and I have no idea what happened after that.
I just thought the similaritys were kinda neat.
Oh, and I cant stand Nikki. or her sister. My least fave characters. And I am sad that Mr. Officer did what he did tonight. I cant ever remember his name but hes def. one of my faves. I hate to think that this group of "others" might feel the need to take their gifts a different way, instead of Hiros way of thinking.

I'm wondering what Claire is going to do. i'm thinking that she's going to confro9nt her step dad about what he's doing to her mom, and possibly reveal her "Secret" to him. I'm also still so very stuck....I mean if her S.dad wants Sylar, and to control who knows about those with powers. Why would he still be letting claire run around free? The only thought I have is that he truely does care for her, and wants to protect her. That itself should be obvious that it isn't safe for her to be home now. Why wouldn't he have done something to take Claire to a place safer than their house? Does this mean in a way that he's maybe using her for bait to get Sylar?

remember too that dad thinks claire's memory has been wiped...but it hasn't... he thinks she is safe.... dad is more than protective...he is stifling and smothering...claire is rebelling like any teen and finding her own way... i think she will find out thru peter about nathan... maybe the pic that mom took will be seen by peter and he will spill the beans to nathan... but peter will be involved somehow in the reveal.... to either claire or nathan...

truly i would not miss nikki/jessica... and since she is being a diva on the set and hates her hubbie co-star... my bets are on her!
I have never liked her looks, but thought she was perhaps selected just to play a beotch. Then, this last week her makeup was different, her demeanor different (as Jessica full-time) and I liked her. Go figure. The diva stuff, though . . . . that's gotta end!!!

You're forgetting thought that he saw the Haitians windchimes outside of her window, so, he knows that she is lying. That's why he told her to stay home. Also, the fact that she has reunited with Zack and the fake tickets. Dad is no dummy, but he does actually love his daughter, in his weird sick little way. However, in the promo, he tells I think its Peter who asks - now what ? dad says, Now you go save the world. So, perhaps not as bad as we think ?

I like Niki. It's rather torturous to see her eveil bad side dominate and become even more sinister. I also just can't handle much more of ripping people in half. I've seen enough gore for a while in real life.
