Well it had been rumored to be done after the next episode. That would have been a shamel I've seen what this show has, and I like to hear things about it being picked up for the whole season. It's the first of the NBC shows to earn that honor this year so it's got something that's connecting with people. Here's hoping it continues to get stronger and better as it goes.
Here's a link with some info. It's a interview with a couple cast mambers.

He's gong to end up being one of the 2 center pieces I think. It'll be him and the Indian guy. One of them knows what's coming, and the other is learning how to bring them all together.
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."
I'm so glad. Did you guys know that Smith was already canceled? I really didn't get into it. I watched it a bit it's first night, but it really didn't grab me.
That's good that it will be picked up. I've only seen the first episode because it premiered on Tuesday night and I watch the Monday night comedies. But it will give me something to watch when the monday night shows re-run.
The EYES...yes..I'm thinking after seeing the promo for next week it's going to be revealed that for the people to truely get to the height of their power they are going to have that happen to them. I thought I caught a glimpse of the flyboy (younger one) with his eyes like that.
Wht's with the "Save the cheerleader" thing at the end of the promo??

I know, why the cheerleader? She's adopted, The kid picks up everyone's power that he's around and what are they doing to the people w/ powers in that room?
I think the girl is a test subject of her (Step) fathers. I don't think it's anything more than that to him. She is maybe the genetic hybrid that has something that can be duplicated in a lab. As for what's up in the lab? I'm thinking that it's a set-up to get rid of their memory of having these powers to keep them from using them.

ok.. so i watch this show and enjoy it but there just ain't that much to say about it... maybe after next week when they save the cheerleader and save the world...
As it turns out, it sort of looks as thoh there is a type of secret "buffy The Vampire Slayer " type society that act as watchers in regards to the mutants. Only they seem to be a bit more handson than the ones in Buffy. Now, to the interesting stuff.... we ALL know that the writers/producers of both Loast and heroes have expressed their enamoration with each other shows and have even tickled our brains with the concept of a crossover. Which I doubt a full blown crossover would happen, however ... I've taken some interesting notes that I thoguht worth sharing.
How Heroes has taken on Lost characteristics ....
1. Kidnapping/experimentation on human beings who are thought to be "different" or "special " in one way or another.
2. The pilot on Lost is the policeman on Heroes who can read thoughts.
3. People who have unexplained abilities.
4. Others.
5. Science V/S Faith. The brothers who can both fly have opposing veiws. One has faith and is open to this while the other wants to supress it and deny the possibility that somethign beyond tangibility can exist. Hiro and his friend who constantly argue over his own abilities. Hiro has faith and the friend doubts.
6. Broken Marriage. The pilots marriage is broken and the wife cheated on him.
7. Charlie and the artist are both heroine addicts.
8. There are a pair of Asians. on who cannot speak English and the other who is bilingual and can translate.
Well I haven't seent he last two. (tonight and last week) so I'm not goign to dig into this until I get caught up. I do like some of the connections though Lion. Great work.
Ooo, sorry Snootch. Well, you'll see some of the connections in this weeks. Actually it sorta stuck out like sore thumb to me. I noticed one and then I sat and made a list that brought me to the others connections. Also, in this latest eppt it made a statement about how you think the world is big and you are small enough to hide in it w/o anyone finding you when it's the world that's really small. I thought that was an interesting way of bringing up the six degree hypothosis.
Lion you did indeed catch a good share of things. I loved the whole thing with Hiro being pretty much the center of the Epi...So do you think he'll save the new chick with powers? I don't think he will. he;ll get there, and that "Sieler"(SP) will still manage to kill her, and maybe he'll even get after Hiro.
As for the cop. Yep I had noticed that he was the Pilot from the "PILOT" epi of Lost. I thihnk he plays the part he has very well. Also I'm wondering if there's going to be another common riff fom show to show. What about the fact that this was done to certain people for a certain reason? Sort of like the idea that the Losties could have been (at least some) brought to the island for a purpose?
I cried, "Oh, Lady Midnight, I fear that you grow old, the stars eat your body and the wind makes you cold." "If we cry now," she said, "it will just be ignored."

some how i am disappointed... maybe i was hoping for more.... so claire is saved and has met one of the other mutants who has met another mutant... there's a vortex at the restaurant of heroes meeting each other and being there... and there is a villain or two or three that are seemingly in cahoots.... and the guy in india has all their names...
