EXSTENSIVE Look At Blast Door Map

Okay. I went to Lostpedia and pulled up a very nice layered map of the blast door map. This is VERY ingenious since it is layered and you can take off every layer if you want. I'll be putting them in my photobucket and posting the link soon. You can also go have a look at it yourself w/o having to look at mine.

There is a word tree on the left hand side. That is a list of the layers. You click on one and the layer goes away. I stripped it so that I have a pick of each layer alone without the others and then a pic of all of them together.

There is an option to translate all the latin into english, so I chose that option and here's what I've found in that area thus far.

These are all the weird phrases or comments that are hand written on the hatch that are not scientifically related, but appear to be comment or almost editorial in nature. Or nonsensical babble - you be the judge.

( I'm going from left to right, top to bottom )

1. He is made worse by his cure medicine

2. Lift up your hearts, Lift up your hearts, Lift up your hearts

3. I think we're on the same wavelength

4. It's a bad plan that can't be changed

5. A mouse does not rely on just one hole

6. Don't consider that anything has been done if anything is left to be done

7. I think therefore I suffer

8. Save yourself from hell

9. Here be dragons

10. The wrath of the Gods may be great but it certainly is slow



Are they criptic ? Or are they just the ramblings of a stir crazy button busher?


I have captured the pics from LostPedia. I copied them, zoomed in and inverted the colors so the background is yellow. Obviously I couldn't fit the entire hatch in one pic while it's zoomed in so I have shots of it in pieces. Then I'll post the whole thing. Just to note, these pics have only the writing, and the possible under gr ound tunnel lines.

I'll put the entire map with everything on it at the end so you can see how it relates.

Okay, I noticed that the thing put spaces between words in the links. You won't get the page if it stays that way. So, look at the links carefully when you go to put them in your browser. Take out all spaces between words and letters before you paste it. If you still have trouble, then go to photobucket and just search for RhemaJoy. You'll find my whole album there.

in el mirage's site, he has a number of pics with the map over layed on the island... really interesting... i was checking it out the other day!!

Now that's pretty cool! I've been thinking ... if you look at the blast door map it seems to indicate the zoological hatch over at the bottom right hand side which I assume is the hydra. Which makes me wonder ifall the hatches are on the losties island or off island like the hydra?
